Asa Gray "Robinson"?

I just found a love for the name [name]Asa[/name]. My husband does not love it and prefers [name]Enoch[/name], but I don’t know if I want to mess with people pronouncing it differently (EE-knock vs. EE-nuck). Plus I love the scriptures about [name]Asa[/name] in the Bible. I also think [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Asa[/name] sound nicely together.

What do you think of [name]Asa[/name] [name]Gray[/name] “[name]Robinson[/name]”?

[name]Love[/name] it, it’s a nice alternative to [name]Ava[/name]. Another option is [name]Ada[/name] but sounds a bit more old ladyish than [name]Ava[/name] or asa.

Well, I think [name]Asa[/name] is a gorgeous boy name. It’s one of my favourites and it does sound lovely with [name]Noah[/name] - which is odd for me to say as I don’t usually like rhyming sibling names. [name]Asa[/name] [name]Gray[/name] is very handsome and distinguished. I really wish I’d thought of it! I really prefer it to [name]Enoch[/name] [name]Gray[/name], it is ten times better in my opinion. Congratulations and good luck

I mean it for a boy’s name

[name]Asa[/name] isn’t my style, but I do love it with [name]Noah[/name] and I think [name]Asa[/name] [name]Gray[/name] R sounds very cool.

I love it! While I adore the story of [name]Enoch[/name] in the Bible, I love [name]Asa[/name] as a name so much more–it’s soft, yet strong, and has a very striking image for me. I think [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Asa[/name] would be adorable together!

I love [name]Asa[/name]! [name]Asa[/name] [name]Gray[/name] is very handsome, and I do really like [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Asa[/name] together.

I love [name]Asa[/name], though [name]Asa[/name] [name]Gray[/name] is the name of a botanist from the 1800’s - people might think he’s named after him. [name]Asa[/name] is on my short list but it’s growing popularity is a concern of mine.

[name]Asa[/name] [name]Gray[/name] is lovely, and [name]Asa[/name] and [name]Noah[/name] make perfect brothers! I prefer the sound of [name]Asa[/name] over [name]Enoch[/name].

I think [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Asa[/name] sound great together, but if your husband doesn’t love it, perhaps he’d like [name]Amasa[/name], another Bible name (nephew to [name]King[/name] [name]David[/name]). It’s pronounced AM-uh-suh.

I think [name]Asa[/name] is a beautiful name, and even though it is traditionally a boys name it is too easy for someone unfamiliar with it to get confused and think it’s a girls name. I prefer [name]Enoch[/name] for that reason.

I like it. Sad to say my only association with it is the soap opera character [name]Asa[/name] [name]Buchanan[/name].

I like it. Sad to say my only association with it is the soap opera character [name]Asa[/name] [name]Buchanan[/name]. Have you read the nameberry entry on [name]Asa[/name]? It mentions [name]Asa[/name] [name]Gray[/name] as a famous botanist. Unless it’s a tribute name to him then I think you should pick a different middle name.

I think you need at least one of the names to be definitively masculine.

Gray is my maiden name, so that is definitely going to be used as the middle for this baby. I highly doubt people will know who Asa Gray is
I see what some of you mean about it being one of those “is it a boy or girl” names.

I went to elementary school with a boy named [name]Asa[/name] and I’ve always loved it! It’s not really feminine to my ear so I don’t really understand the issue of it being mistaken for a girl’s name other than it being spelled similar to [name]Ava[/name]. To me it’s like the similarity of [name]Liam[/name] and [name]Lia[/name]. I don’t really care for [name]Enoch[/name], but I can see the appeal. [name]Asa[/name] [name]Gray[/name] is very cool!!
