and I have to admit I did have to do a double take at Aljenljeng, turns out it’s actually an Indigenous Taiwanese name! Couldn’t find the original meaning anywhere (the singer did mention that she was named after her grandmother!) but the Chinese transliteration of Aljenljeng means something like ‘remain’. Agree with @mirisss that [name_m]Ali[/name_m] would be an adorable [name_f]English[/name_f] name/nickname!
