My first name is Linh last name Nguyen, i want to find an English first name and middle name that is not too much and go with my personality. I am an introvert and responsible person, love animals. Why do you want an English name in the first place? I’m guessing it’s because English is the most popular language in the world, so it’s easier to go with an English name?

. I would love an [name_f]English[/name_f] name because I love my name to be called and spelled correctly but don’t have to keep correcting ppl, it doesn’t feel so good keep correcting everyone about the spelling and even worse as I am a bit of a shy person.
I guess I just also find some names are beautiful and being in [name_f]English[/name_f] country away from home gives me an excuse to choose the name I find nice.

My goodness, people in England NEVER pronounce my name, Rahma, correctly

It’s because my name has an H in it and they ignore it. I’m inclined to believe that the ones who can’t pronounce my name after I’ve spelt it out are idiots. You pronounce Harriet properly, people!

All the women on the paternal side of my family have this first name
Violet Lily. Go by Vivi if you need a nickname. If you’d like more than one nickname, Victoria has Vivi, Vica, Vita & Vera
I feel your pain. I just don’t like how my last name pronounced either. And so many ppl with same last name [name_m]Nguyen[/name_m] so can’t steal your idea of asking ppl to call me by my last name. And thank you so much for helping me pick 1 out of those 3. Oh and I love the nickname [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] too. Didn’t think of that
