Ask the Name Expert (That's You!)

Propose a hypothetical (or real, we’ll never know!) naming situation for the next poster asking for their expert advice and suggestions. Similar to NameSage’s blog posts (which by the way is not me, I’ve had my username for years! Lol.)

I’ll start.

Looking for a girl name to compliment older sister, [name_f]Zadie[/name_f]. Mother works in education, so popular names are out. Definitely nothing in the top 100. She would possibly like a literary name with a twist. They are not fans of gender neutral names. Dogs name is [name_f]Ella[/name_f] so nothing that sounds similar to that.

(So next poster gives name suggestions to this one along with the name they would probably ultimately choose, and then describes a new situation for the next poster.)

I’d most likely go with [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] and [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] as a sibset. The allusion to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] and the meaning of thunder help [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] to stand strong along the name [name_f]Zadie[/name_f].

A mother and her husband are eagerly awaiting twins, a boy and a girl. Older siblings are [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_f]Bee[/name_f] [name_u]Antonia[/name_u]. They prefer a less common first (nothing within the top 100) paired with a more common middle (this can be within the top 100).
