Hello fellow Nameberry Lovers
I’m hoping to become a writer one day and I love to pick out baby names although I don’t plan on having children for a while (I’m still in college). Please let me know what you think of my favorites or add on to the list
Girls:
- [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
- [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
- [name_f]Bella[/name_f]
- [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]
- [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
- [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
- [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
- [name_f]Coralie[/name_f]
- [name_f]Willa[/name_f]
- [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
Boys:
- [name_m]Leo[/name_m]
- [name_m]Calvin[/name_m]
- [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]
- [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m]
- [name_u]Kieran[/name_u]
- [name_u]Finley[/name_u]
- [name_u]Rylan[/name_u]
- [name_u]James[/name_u]
- [name_u]Sam[/name_u]
Thank you Boys names are harder for me to decide on. It helps knowing the middle names will be [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_m]Edward[/name_m], or [name_m]Richard[/name_m] (family names).
I also forgot a few for girls:
- [name_f]Luna[/name_f]
- [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
- [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
Also cannot use [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], or [name_f]Maya[/name_f] as they are my siblings’ names
I love [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Cora[/name_f] even better or [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] better than [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], but i still like it.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] has been growing on me as well.
I like [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] and [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] from your boy side. I love [name_m]Ryland[/name_m], but not [name_u]Rylan[/name_u].
I do like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], and [name_f]Willa[/name_f]…[name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], and [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] would be the boy names I like…the others are okay, but I’m getting tired of them. No offense or anything, I just prefer more unique names that haven’t been run into the ground. Especially from writers. I love to see a stand-out name on the back of a book! It makes me smile and often convinces me to read it (if the story sounds intriguing). I’m also an author and I love names. I would encourage you to explore names outside of the ‘safe zone’ and see if anything reaches out to you. Who knows, you could end up just using an uncommon name with one on your list to create a smashing combo!
Thank you, I like to go out of my comfort zone for girls but it’s hard for me to find boys names that I like that aren’t too common, like REALLY hard.
