[name]Astera[/name], this spelling, is pronounced as-TAIR-ah. Not sure on [name]Astara[/name], but I assume it would be the same? Or maybe AS-tuh-rah? I like it, though, whichever it is.
It’s Greek, so AS-stah-rah
In English, I imagine most people will say a-STAR-a
I just discovered the similar - [name]Starla[/name] which I thought was very pretty
I know a teen named [name]Astraea[/name] and it fits her and overall I find it a pretty name.
I prefer uh-star-uh, so you avoid that naughty word sound in as-tar-uh… I’m sure some people will say it that way anyway though…
some of my favorite celestial/star/space names:
[name]Stella[/name]
[name]Estelle[/name]
[name]Calliope[/name]
[name]Selena[/name]
[name]Celeste[/name]
[name]Luna[/name]
I would say [name]Astara[/name] ‘as-tar-ah’. I prefer Ostara from the same root as you loose the ‘as’ beginning.
