Thoughts on this name pairing? [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] was my mother’s name, and [name_f]Lisabet[/name_f] is the closest thing to it that I actually like!
Other names we like: Harriet/Hattie, [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_u]Florence[/name_u] (for girls); [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_u]Remy[/name_u], Ivar/Ives (for boys).
I looooove it. You should check out [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] Lindgren’s [name_f]Madicken[/name_f] books (English versions have been translated with the names Mardie, [name_f]Meg[/name_f] and Maggie). Madicken’s little sister is a very sassy and funny girl called [name_f]Lisabet[/name_f]. So that was an instant association for me. They are great books.
Ohhh I will have to check those out! Our last name is somewhat similar to Lindgren (though not close enough to be an immediate association) which is one of the reasons I like [name_f]Astrid[/name_f]. I know it will sound like a natural combo!
I really love [name_f]Lisabet[/name_f], but I’m not a fan of [name_f]Astrid[/name_f]. I don’t care for [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] or [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], for the same reason.
Other ideas to honor [name_u]Lisa[/name_u]: [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f] (has same letters). But I do love your current choice of [name_f]Lisabet[/name_f].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! It goes brilliantly with [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_u]Florence[/name_u], [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u] as well.
