The Office totally ruined it for me. All I hear now is as-tird (ass-turd). Sorry.
I like [name]Astri[/name]. (Aus-tree)
I really like [name]Astrid[/name]! Yeah, the Office thing definitely isn’t ideal, but it’ll fade. It might make a better middle name than first name, though.
I love it and think it works great in your sibset. I’m not an Office watcher, so that reference was the first time I heard it.
I like [name]Astrid[/name] (I think of the movie “[name]How[/name] to Train Your Dragon”), but I pronounce it with more of an ‘s’ sound than a ‘z’ sound, so I’m not sure it fits with the theme you want. I do think it lends an international flair to your children’s names, though.
[name]Astrid[/name] is ok, but I prefer [name]Aster[/name].
I am a big [name]Astrid[/name] fan and I love it in your sibset!
I absolutely love [name]Astrid[/name] (I have ever since I first heard it in [name]Baby[/name]-Sitters Club books when I was about ten ), but the “ass” sound does concern me. I probably wouldn’t use it for my own child for that reason. At least as a first name; I’d definitely still use it as a middle.
I like [name]Astrid[/name]! You could also use: [name]Azalea[/name] (a ZAYL yah), or [name]Isadora[/name]
