What are your thoughts on [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]? [name_m]General[/name_m] impression, favorite combos, sibling name ideas, etc?
I think it’s cool. I would imagine his parents to be very hip, literary types.
I actually really love [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], but I wouldn’t use it personally, since it’s a bit out there.

As ladimon said it’s a little bit too out there, but I would use it as a middle name, with a softer first name
I really like [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]. It’s an off-beat choice that has a great sound and associations.

It just reminds me of my geography lessons in school where we had atlases galore and it was just a mess of atlases, lol. I think it’s a cool name but that is the first, and only, thing I think of.
It’s hip, modern and fresh, so I would assume siblings were [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m], [name_u]Asa[/name_u], [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u], [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], [name_f]Willa[/name_f] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u].
I adore the name [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]! First of all, I love names finishing in -as such as [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], [name_m]Silas[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_u]Elias[/name_u], Phileas/[name_m]Phineas[/name_m]. I also love the fact that [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is a mountain (nature name) and a mythologic name. It is strong, hip, spunky, class.
I have had a hard time to pair [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] with another name that flows well with it, and that I like. My favorite combos are:

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! That being said, I love to admire it on others but am definitely not brave enough to use it myself. It would absolutely be in my top choices for a middle name but I can’t think what to pair it with/get rid of for its place. When I first heard it I thought of the [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] in mythology, not the textbook - which the mythological name clearly existed long before.
I’d probably avoid placing a nature related/geography name with it, eg “[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_u]Ocean[/name_u]”, sounds a little too on-the-nose and like it was picked from the textbook.
I love [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] but I’d probably never use it myself. I’d imagine an [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] to have siblings with similar unique, slightly nature-y and off-beat names, such as [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. Either that, or siblings with the same theme- [name_u]Artemis[/name_u], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_m]Apollo[/name_m], etc. I’d either pair [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] with something more traditional ([name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]) or something equally as familiar sounding, but unique ([name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_u]Florian[/name_u])
I really like [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] but am not personally brave enough to use it. I used to have as a middle name on my list paired with [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] {[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]}. I love alliteration but I also like pairing really uncommon names with familiar even classic names. [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] would be nice. [name_m]Even[/name_m] something like [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], or [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m]. I think I’m feeling longer 3+ syllable names with [name_m]Atlas[/name_m].
I know a grown up [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]. Very strong name. It suits him well.
