Good morning everyone, I was wondering if y’all had any thoughts on the girl name [name_f]Atlee[/name_f]? I recently heard it and thought it sounded interesting. Any sibling suggestions would be nice as well.

It doesn’t have a bad sound, but it doesn’t look very name-like to me. I prefer [name_u]Adley[/name_u].

[name_f]Atlee[/name_f] is adorable and has a really strong meaning, coming from [name_f]Atalanta[/name_f].

ETA: I was just reading another post about the name Ramona, which reminded me of a TV show from the 80’s. I looked it up to find that it was based on a series of books written by Beverly Atlee Cleary. I thought that was a nice coincidence and that I’d mention it here in case you enjoy a literary link to the name!
I checked the nameberry page, and I see that it’s a variation of [name_f]Atalanta[/name_f], which is one of my absolutely favourite names. As such, I am inclined to positive feelings about it (although I would just go with [name_f]Atalanta[/name_f]). Although I normally don’t tend to favour -ee endings, I think it works here.

It reminds me of [name_m]Clement[/name_m] Attlee. Not necessarily bad, but a bit of a ‘meh’ association.

It’s very sweet, I like it I think [name_u]Bristol[/name_u] [name_u]Palin[/name_u] has a daughter named [name_f]Atlee[/name_f] [name_u]Bay[/name_u] (siblings are [name_m]Tripp[/name_m] and [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]), actually.

Yes I can neither confirm or deny that’s where I got the name. Not that she’s the best association but I mean it’s not like she’s the worst either idk.
It’s pretty cute! I prefer [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] or Atla, though.
