What do you guys think of this as a first name? I really love it in theory (and I mean REALLY love it) but am not sure I can imagine an actual child with this name.

And what is a nickname you could use?
I absolutely [name]ADORE[/name] [name]Atticus[/name]! [name]Atticus[/name] [name]Finch[/name] is such a glorious namesake, and few are better, in my opinion. I do think a child could actually be named this, and boy will his English teacher love him! A friend of my mom’s daughter had a fifteen-year-old son when she got pregnant again, so she told him that he could name his new little sibling. Well, he was reading TKAM in school, and named his baby brother [name]Atticus[/name]. [name]How[/name] cool is that??
I really don’t think [name]Atticus[/name] needs a nn, but if you really wanted one you could use [name]Atti[/name] (Aty–like [name]Addy[/name]?). I think [name]Atticus[/name] just on its own is glorious =) good luck!

I know an atticus who is two. I like it, its not weird saying it. You should use the name.
I know an [name]Atticus[/name]…he’s a big football star and ridiculously smart. He’ll probably be heading to an ivy league next year to play football. A well-rounded guy!
