I found this story about an attorney/judicial candidate in Chicago who originally had a Polish last name who changed both his first and last name to appear Irish (and the first name is even unisex - another guy who doesn’t have a problem with that). His original name was [name_m]Phillip[/name_m] Spiwak, and it’s now [name_u]Shannon[/name_u] P. O’[name_f]Malley[/name_f] (I believe that middle initial represents his original given name).
