Auden

Is this too feminine for a boy?

I love it for a boy. I think it’s nice enough on a girl, but it’s so close to [name]Aidan[/name] and so rare in general that it should be easily wearable for a boy. W.H. [name]Auden[/name] makes it seem more masculine, even if it wasn’t his first name, and I think he’s the strongest association most people have with [name]Auden[/name].

I could never see it on a girl, ha. Any other thoughts?

Simply, no. For whatever reason, I hear the name [name]Auden[/name] and think of a sauntering cowboy. Nothing feminine about that!

Boy boy boy! I love the name but it doesn’t go with our surname :~(

I don’t think it sounds feminine.

All boy to me. I like it, but don’t love it.

I think it could be used for a girl but it’s not feminine. It would sound masculine on a girl.

I’d use it just to get to nn [name]Audie[/name], in honor of the badass Texan and war hero [name]Audie[/name] [name]Murphy[/name].

I like [name]Auden[/name] for either gender but I think it works better on a boy. It’s not a common name so I don’t think you should worry if it’s feminine or not. I like the literary connection.

This is going to sound crazy, but when I see the name all I can picture is a wicked hot guy at a bar you’re too afraid to talk to. Swoon. I think it’s an awesome name.

This seems all boy to me…I kinda like it. It could be like the boy version of [name]Autumn[/name].
