Auden

Thoughts on the name [name_u]Auden[/name_u]? I’m starting to really love the name but want to know everyone’s opinions, also if you think it’s more suitable for a boy or girl

I love it and I think it’s a boy name.

I only recently ran across this name and I absolutely love it. I agree, definitely a boy’s name. I can’t see it on a girl, even with the “boys names for girls” trend. [name_u]Auden[/name_u] would definitely be near the top of my list right now if my husband liked it at all!

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this name! So glad somebody brought the name up. And I prefer it on a boy, although I prefer similar [name_u]Arden[/name_u] on a girl.

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this name, and would definitely use it for a son. To me, it is all boy. My only hesitation is that I prefer it pronounced “[name_m]Odin[/name_m]”, and I’m pretty sure most people would pronounce it “Awden”. I actually like both pronunciations just prefer the first, and the little bit of ambiguity kinda bothers me. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name otherwise.

So glad to hear such positive feedback for this name, I really am looking loving. I was questioning then boy/girl thing because i read a book a few years ago and the girls name was [name_u]Auden[/name_u] so I didn’t know if most people felt it worked better for a girl

I just named my daughter [name_u]Auden[/name_u]! It’s a great name. I’ve known two other [name_u]Auden[/name_u]'s (both were girls) but I could picture it working for a boy as well.

I like it a lot. I think it could work on either gender well, but I see it as more of a boys’ name.

[name_u]Auden[/name_u] sounds like a boys name to me (I have never heard it before). I personally prefer [name_u]Alden[/name_u], though. I imagine an “[name_u]Auden[/name_u]” as a very strong and mature young man. Nice choice

I also love it and see it as definitely a boy’s name!
