We really like the name [name_f]Celine[/name_f], but it’s already used by a niece of mine. We aren’t very close, so we don’t want to rule it out completely and decided to keep it on the middle name list.
We had trouble finding a first name for it, but settled on [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].
I have started to really dislike the combo [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Celine[/name_f] though.
But DH saved the day with his suggestion of using [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].
What are your thoughts on the name [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Celine[/name_f]? Does the flow work in your ears? (I know combining 2 names of the same syllable doesn’t always work)
I think it’s a really pretty name. I’ve always had a soft spot for the name [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Celine[/name_f] sounds so fluid that it isn’t a big deal that they both have two-syllables.
I think the 2-2 syllable flow is fine, and the combo is nice. Something like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] sounds better to me because there’s not so much ee sound.
As far as using [name_f]Celine[/name_f], I don’t think it would be bad, but unless it’s your absolute favorite and nothing else compares, I would probably choose something else. There are so many gorgeous names out there!
