This combo feels a little tired to me, but it would work in honoring both my grandmother (Helen Audrey) and my MIL (Mary Ann). It’s nice, and it’s comfy if that makes sense, but it doesn’t wow me. Any ideas on how to freshen it up a bit? Or should I keep as is?
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Marielle[/name_f]/[name_f]Mariella[/name_f] would be my suggestion if you are set on [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] as a first name.
Other adaptations using the four names:
[name_f]Mariella[/name_f] [name_f]Anais[/name_f]
[name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] ([name_f]Elena[/name_f] is the Spanish form of [name_f]Helen[/name_f])
[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] would be my choice from those! (However, I do love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f] as well)
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] (you could use nn [name_f]Lena[/name_f] -pronounced [name_f]Lenna[/name_f])
[name_f]Audrina[/name_f] [name_f]Maren[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Helen[/name_f]
The [name_m]French[/name_m] name [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] is a much prettier and refined version of [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and it looks beautiful with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]! For some reason, I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] the name rose with the names [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Mary[/name_f], so I would add it as part of a double middle to make the name bloom. And don’t forget that [name_f]May[/name_f] or [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is a beautiful and fresh nod to [name_f]Mary[/name_f]!
While I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f] is a perfectly lovely name, the first thing that happened when I saw it was I started humming “[name_f]Ave[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f].” I’m not even Catholic, but the connection was really strong for me. Not sure if this is a positive, negative, or neutral thing for you, but just something I thought about!
I came here to say the same thing about “[name_f]Ave[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f]”! I started humming it immediately, too. I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f] is a lovely combo, but I would suggest a double middle name to break it up. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] ____ [name_f]Maria[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Mara[/name_f]! [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Maren[/name_f] or [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f] are pretty too.
