Audrey or Lucy?

We are having our daughter next week and still do not have a name picked out. Our first daughter is [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and our last name starts with a K, so we want to avoid first names starting with K or C that sound like K.

Our top runners right now are [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. Other names that I love that my husband has said no are [name_u]Emery[/name_u] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] (both have family ties). We both love [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] but his good friend has a daughter named [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - so we wouldn’t use it. Help?!?

All three, counting [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], sound wonderful as a sister to [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] (adore). And [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is not off limits, no one has the rights to a name. If you feel it’s the one, use it.

(In order)

[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]

I absolutely adore [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]!!!

Thanks - we feel like his friend circle would be less than ok with this - although I am recently feeling more and more like you

I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] are equally good matches for [name_f]Sophie[/name_f].
I think it all depends on the middle name you want to give her and how it all sounds with your last name…
Any ideas for a middle name?

We were thinking [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - but [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is the name of a 1970’s horror film and my husband doesn’t want there to be a remake and her name be the same. Other ideas for a middle could be [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] or [name_f]Emma[/name_f] - both family names

Both are lovely, but I slightly prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].

Both [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] would work beautifully. I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is slightly better since [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] sounds very similar to [name_f]Sophie[/name_f].

If I had to pick between [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], I’d go with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. But if you like [name_u]Emery[/name_u] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] (and names that end in -y), what about [name_u]Everly[/name_u]? Or Eisley? I think [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] or Eisley [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] sound lovely. Good luck!

One of my all time top names is [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], but my sister’s name is [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], so I love both of these names! But a sister to [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] would have to be [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I think they go together better than [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]! [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is also one of my favorites. [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] go together so well.

I do like both [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. However, I find [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] a more interesting combo than [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. You really cannot choose wrong.

Since you feel you cannot use [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], what about [name_f]Eve[/name_f]? [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is a favorite of mine.

I really like [name_f]Eve[/name_f] too. My husband is not a big fan though
