[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I are liking [name_u]August[/name_u] for a boy name (little one due in [name_u]November[/name_u]). I like the nickname [name_u]Gus[/name_u] but he isn’t as keen on a nick name. We have 3 other kids: [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] ([name_u]Sam[/name_u]), [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think 2 “word names” together sound odd? [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_u]August[/name_u]?
I’m thinking [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] or [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m].
I think [name_u]August[/name_u] is fabulous, and I think it goes wonderfully with your other kids’ names! I like [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m]
I think [name_u]August[/name_u] is a nice name, and goes just fine with the others. how great would it be, to have a little [name_u]August[/name_u] running around! I don’t think it matters much about the nickname. it may end up just being a term of endearment that maybe only you use, but that’s fine, too! [name_m]Just[/name_m] don’t let anyone call him Auggie!! LOL
Sad I actually really love Auggie and rather dislike [name_u]Gus[/name_u]. But I’m usually one of the few.
I think [name_u]August[/name_u] would be handsome with your other kids names names. It didn’t even occur to me that [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_u]August[/name_u] were both “word names”. Mostly I think because I think of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] the state and also [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] as a feminization of [name_m]George[/name_m]. While [name_u]August[/name_u] first reminds me of the month, and then the word.
I prefer [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] to [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], but both are super handsome! [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]? This way you avoid the two word names of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_u]August[/name_u].
