Thoughts on this name for a girl? Thoughts as a sister to [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f]? Is it to matchy as a sibling? I recently came across [name_u]August[/name_u] for a girl and love it so much! I think it’s beautiful.

It’s stunning!! I would name my daughter [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] in a heartbeat. I do think it may be a bit matchy with [name_f]Summer[/name_f] though — would you be open to [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] maybe?

I do like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] 
I find [name_f]Summer[/name_f] very feminine and [name_u]August[/name_u] strictly masculine (I know it’s a month but as a name it’s different to me) so I would be surprised to encounter two girls with these names. Still, even as a unisex name, I find them a little too matchy.

I don’t care for [name_u]August[/name_u] on a girl, but [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is kinda nice. I prefer [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], though.

I like both names and don’t mind them together, but find the t end of [name_u]August[/name_u] doesn’t flow well with [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I do really like it for Summer’s sister too, though you need to be conscious of a bit of a theme in case you’re having more.

[name_f]Summer[/name_f] is so lovely. [name_u]August[/name_u] & [name_f]Summer[/name_f] are a tad match-y, but I don’t mind the matchy-ness. They both give me such a warm, easy going, slightly artsy & well…summery vibe! I do prefer [name_u]August[/name_u] for a boy & it’s getting somewhat popular for a boy. But I can absolutely see the appeal of it for a girl, which is not something that I can say for a lot of unisex names. Especially paired w/the lovely feminine classic of [name_f]Jane[/name_f].

Ditto! Recently I came across [name_u]August[/name_u] for a girl and I think it’s really sweet despite preferring for a boy I can definitely see the appeal as a
quirky girls name. I love [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]!
Anyways [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is lovely but with [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f] it’s a bit too matchy for my liking. I like a theme but I think with [name_f]Summer[/name_f] obviously being a season & [name_u]August[/name_u] being a month stereotypically within that season (unless your in Australia) it’s just a bit too much a bit awkward. However I really like the idea of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u]. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] & [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f] is nice and that theme is nice but not to much in reverse.
