Trying to decide which sounds/flows nicely. Our last name is only one syllable and starts with R. I am a little unsure about the 2-3-1 syllable combination with [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], but love the first and middle combo. What are your thoughts?
I think [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] flows much better than [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Odin[/name_m]. The 2-3-1 syllable flow wouldn’t bother me much, but if it does you, I understand. I think [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Odin[/name_m] feels much clunkier because both names are 2 syllables. Having 2 syllables, then 3, then 1, sounds much better flow-wise, in my opinion. And, I really like [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] together. I think they compliment each other nicely.
I love [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]! I’m a big fan of both names individually, plus I think they go together and flow well!
August [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] for sure!
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]!
Definitely [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]!
Another vote for [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]! [name_m]Odin[/name_m] is nice, but [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] flows better.
August [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] sounds fantastic
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is wonderful, and I have to agree that 2-3-1 sounds better to my ear than 2-2-1. It’s nice to have a bit of variety in name lengths, I think.
Best of luck!
I vote for [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u].
Definitely [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], I think the 2-3-1 flow works best, and I think [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] fits with [name_u]August[/name_u] better.
I much prefer [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]! It flows better, and I just like [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] better as a name than [name_m]Odin[/name_m].
August [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is just great! But if you prefer the name [name_m]Odin[/name_m] to [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], I think it flows perfectly fine with [name_u]August[/name_u] and a one-syllable last name and you should go with the name you actually like better.
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Odin[/name_m] is brilliant
Odin is a brilliant name, but [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] has a magnificent flow! I think it will sound perfect with your surname!
I actually LOVE the 2-3-1 flow, so [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] sounds much better to my ear.
I LOVE [name_m]Odin[/name_m], though, and the thought of a little [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Odin[/name_m] is almost too adorable to pass up! [name_f]My[/name_f] happy medium would probably be combine the combos and use all three names ([name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Odin[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]/August [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_m]Odin[/name_m]!), but maybe that’s just me. I like the look of AOE more, but I think AEO flows better.
Good luck!
I prefer [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Odin[/name_m]. I like that both the first and middle are two syllables, with emphasis on the first syllable (AU-gust O-din). I think it’s simple, straightforward & handsomely paired. I tend to like shorter names in general, so it’s truly a matter of preference. [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is nice too, I just find it more lyrical and requires a little more effort to say, which is just not my style.
August [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] flows much better to me. I much prefer this combo. [name_m]Odin[/name_m] is very cool though!
