I voted [name]August[/name]. I wouldn’t know how to pronounce [name]Asa[/name]. It looks like [name]ASA[/name] (aspirin)and sounds a bit like “ass”… Where is it from?
I’m tied between them both really but if you’re worried about prn issues then go with [name]August[/name]. I actually know a boy called [name]Asa[/name] and that is the only reason I know the correct prn.
It is prn ay-sa
Tough choice, they’re both brilliant, but I like [name]August[/name] that little bit more.
No competition! Definitely [name]August[/name]. When I see [name]Asa[/name], I always think of kicking somebody’s [name]Asa[/name].
[name]August[/name] is one of my all favorite names. It is handsome and very underused. [name]Asa[/name] sounds like Ass and Asshat.
I didn’t vote, because I can’t decide either! They’re my top two choices as well! btw, [name]Asa[/name] is pronounced AY-suh. It doesn’t look or sound like ass to me at all.
[name]August[/name] is a great name. Sounds like someone intelligent, kind and courteous. [name]Asa[/name] is a decent name too, and at times I’ve liked it quite a bit, but I’m starting to loose my positive feels for it over time- doesn’t have the staying power for me that [name]August[/name] (or [name]Augustus[/name]) does.
[name]Asa[/name] (AY-sah). Thanks! I still don’t like this one very much. It sounds a little feminine.
[name]August[/name] is great though. As is [name]Augustus[/name].
I love both, but I’m especially fond of [name]Asa[/name].
Oh nooo. These are two of my favorite boy names. I definitely have reservations about using [name]Asa[/name], because it does read a bit feminine though. Maybe it could be used as a nickname though. Is [name]Augustus[/name] nn [name]Asa[/name] too much of a stretch?? Alesander? [name]Alistair[/name]/[name]Alasdair[/name]?
I voted for [name]August[/name]. [name]Asa[/name] is a nice name - and I know a little [name]Asa[/name] - but I prefer names that have a bit more weight to them. [name]August[/name] also allows for a number of nice nicknames.
Of those names, I’ve got to go for [name]August[/name].
[name]August[/name] for sure. I like it, but I strongly dislike [name]Asa[/name]. I think it will be constantly mispronounced-- maybe on purpose by mischievous peers-- as “ass-uh.”
I voted [name]August[/name] just because I don’t really like the name [name]Asa[/name]. I know someone names [name]Esa[/name] and I like that a lot better.
I really like Amos and Ezra, and I think they’re easier to manage than Asa and the same background. For a really rare one I like Azaria/Azariah.
I like August a lot but it’s comparatively quite common.
The Bible.
[name]Asa[/name], it’s a lovely name.
I’m a sucker for [name]Asa[/name]!
I hadn’t heard of [name]Asa[/name] until recently. But I met a little boy with this name and he made the name even better! I think it’s a great unheard of name.
