I would say ‘August-een’. If that’s not the pronunciation you prefer, then I’d spell it as Augustin.
I agree with @gia.berry! I pronounce Augustine ‘August-een’ and Augustin ‘August-in’
I would say aw-GUS-tin because of the historical figure, St Augustine of Hippo.
I’ve always pronounced it as aw-gus-teen, like the city, but I’ve read that its “proper” English pronunciation should be aw-gus-tin based on the original Latin pronunciation. I feel like they’re both valid, and it’s really up to you how you want the name pronounced, but I do like the pp’s idea of spelling it as Augustin for aw-gus-tin and as Augustine for aw-gus-teen.
I say “augusteen”, and agree with @gia.berry that I’d spell it [name_m]Augustin[/name_m] if you want that pronunciation.
