Wdyt?
It’s a cool name, very strong in an ‘ancient ruler’ sort of way! It makes me think of the character from The Fault in Our Stars.
I do prefer [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_u]Augustine[/name_u], personally.
I love all [name_u]August[/name_u]- names, but this one’s probably my least favourite. It’s very [name_m]Roman[/name_m] emperor for me, but I still like it.
Like the posters above, I love all the [name_u]August[/name_u] names … I prefer [name_u]August[/name_u] to [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], but prefer it to [name_u]Augustine[/name_u].
Loooove it! It reminds me of Augustus Gloop, but not in a way that it’s only his name and anyone else named that is weird. I think this name’s adorable.
Plus, if you’re worried about it sounding like the Fault in Our Stars… it’s okay. My name is Hazel, and since 2014, no one has asked me if my name had any connection to that book. Maybe they thought it to themselves, but it’s not so obvious anymore!
[name_m]Augustus[/name_m] is strong and cool - it has a slightly clunky feel but in a good way
Solid and strong. Better than [name_u]August[/name_u].
I like it & prefer it to just [name_u]August[/name_u] as [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] feels more namey and less wordy.
It’s not to my taste (most Latinate names ending in us aren’t), but I can see the appeal! It’s strong and underused.
I like it. It’s not my favorite [name_u]August[/name_u]- name, but still. Definitely more exciting than [name_u]August[/name_u].
it’s okay, i prefer august or augustine, but i like it for other people!
i like it, though i do prefer august
I like it, very grand. It does make me think of The Fault In Our Stars, but that’s 100% a positive connection.
