Aurelia & Astoria

[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Astoria[/name_f]; do you think they are too matchy-matchy for twins? I’m usually not a fan of matching twins names but I love these two so much and I’m a little torn…

I know of sisters named [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] and I think that combo works well. I think the names [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] have somewhat different styles–ancient/classical vs. modern place name–so they do not strike me as overly matchy.

I really love [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] together! Apart from sharing an initial and the “-ia” ending, these names have wildly different vibes and sounds. However, I adore them as a pair: So vivid and unique.

They are quite matchy but not unusably so. They’re both lovely names

I find them matchy but not over the top. I think they will make a lovely sibset.

They’re matchy, but they’re beautiful together

Too matchy for me, especially since neither has any good intuitive nicknames. Also it seems unfair to give one twin a beautiful Classical name meaning golden, and then name the other after a place in Queens.

The sounds are much too matchy, especially for twins, imo

The -ia ending on both is too matchy for me. Have you thought of [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Astara[/name_f]?
