Please don’t take this the wrong way.

[name]Auria[/name] just looks misspelled to me. Granted, I’m biased as my name is [name]Aria[/name] (are-ee-uh). My name already gets mispronounced/misspelled enough. Pretty much every time I meet someone new or someone I don’t know tries to read or spell my name. It’s already a pretty uncommon name so unless there is someone type of significance/family reason you’re spelling it that way, I wouldn’t give anyone more reasons to be confused about how to say a name. It’s a beautiful name and equally has a beautiful meaning(its a musical term in Italian and means “lioness of God” in Hebrew). So with that said, [name]Aria[/name] [name]Maple[/name] sounds beautiful!

I wish you all the best in naming your daughter!

I love [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Maple[/name]! I think [name]Mattie[/name] [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Maple[/name] are so sweet together. [name]Auria[/name] [name]Maple[/name] [name]June[/name] is very pretty, though!

[name]Auria[/name]'s pretty, but I think [name]Hannah[/name] goes a bit better with [name]Mattie[/name]. I was thinking [name]Auria[/name] is pronounced differently than [name]Aria[/name] - I say Au with an -aw sound… so I think of them as two different names. Depends on where you live, I guess.

@ksheja Yeah, I agree. I just have seen someone spell it that way and pronounce it like [name]Aria[/name]. I do agree that the “u” makes the pronunciation different. I guess I should have prefaced my statement with that. Woops!

[name]Mattie[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is adorable. [name]Just[/name] saying.

Anyways, I’m prn it Or-ee-uh, and I love the [name]Auria[/name] [name]Maple[/name] [name]June[/name] combo! I think it has the whimsy that [name]Mattie[/name] [name]Mae[/name] has, while [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Maple[/name] is pretty but seems very grounded.

Thanks for all the feedback. I’ve decided that [name]Aria[/name] would be a better spelling. I am so in love with the names [name]Aria[/name] and [name]Maple[/name] but I’m just afraid that [name]Aria[/name] doesn’t go well with [name]Mattie[/name]. [name]Aria[/name] [name]Maple[/name] [name]June[/name] is my favorite. I also like [name]Aria[/name] [name]Maple[/name] [name]Kate[/name] as well as [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Maple[/name], [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Maple[/name] and [name]Hannah[/name] Covie (Covie being a family name).

I actually just came across [name]Auria[/name] yesterday, and it’s a legit, very old name, and not related to [name]Aria[/name].
The Basque Country has documentation of it being used as early as 1069, and at least in the case of being a Basque name, it’s related to [name]Aurea[/name], which is Latin for gold. A variation of it is [name]Oria[/name].
As lovely as I think [name]Auria[/name] is, it might be a little flashy next to [name]Mattie[/name]. I think [name]Hannah[/name] fits better, but I think both options are nice and you should go with what you love.
That being said, I also like [name]Aria[/name].
[name]Sophie[/name] is great with [name]Mattie[/name], and I don’t know if you’re open to [name]June[/name] as a first name, but I think that’s actually a perfectly complementary name with [name]Mattie[/name]. [name]Mattie[/name] & [name]June[/name]. [name]Love[/name] it! [name]June[/name] [name]Aria[/name] [name]Maple[/name] would be really sweet, or [name]June[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Maple[/name].
