Hiya, what do you think of the name Auron for a boy? Pronounced Au-ren/Au-run x
I’m in the US, and I think it would constantly be mistaken for [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] here. Depending on where you live, this may not be an issue. Other than that, I think it’s a lovely name!
I like the idea and the sound quite a bit—[name_m]Amon[/name_m] and [name_u]Arlen[/name_u] are on my list, so this is right up my alley—but looking at it, I can’t help but see (S)auron, like the big bad in [name_m]Lord[/name_m] of the Rings. That’s probably just me, though, and I’m not sure how else you’d spell it to get the right pronunciation.
I know the name [name_m]Oren[/name_m] for a boy… is this meant to sound the same way? If yes, I think it’s a nice name, I’m just used to it spelled this way.
I like it, I also like Aurin a lot.
I prefer [name_m]Oren[/name_m]/[name_m]Orrin[/name_m]/[name_m]Orran[/name_m]
I love the sound of Auron, but like a pp, it also reminds me of Sauron. I like the suggestions of Aurin and [name_m]Oren[/name_m]/[name_m]Orrin[/name_m]!
I seen [name_m]Auryn[/name_m] but not Auron…i like it it is more masculine than [name_m]Auryn[/name_m], although i agree with pp that people may think it is aaron with a typo!
