What do you think of the name [name]Aurora[/name]?? I think it is so beautiful but family members have expressed concern that it is too difficult to say and that it sounds funny. Also, what middle names would work? [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Grace[/name]?
It’s pretty. The Rs do make it kind of hard to say, but that isn’t too bad of a problem. [name]Grace[/name] is such a filler middle-- what about:
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Celeste[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Helen[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]

[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Bridget[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Vivian[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Daphne[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Niamh[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Camille[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Elodie[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Delphine[/name]
Thanks for the suggestions!! I love [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]
Isn’t it amazing how [name]Grace[/name] is the “new” middle name? I have a friend who had a baby girl and of course chose [name]Grace[/name] as the middle name - as did three other baby girls in the hospital that same night! Years ago everyone’s middle name was “[name]Marie[/name]” (so it seemed). I really think [name]Grace[/name] is the new [name]Marie[/name]. A filler middle name as you say!!
I do find it a bit hard to say, but I’m sure everyone would get used to it.
What do you think of [name]Aurelia[/name]? Similar, but it would be my preference.
I definitely think [name]Aurora[/name] is challenging to say, but it is such a pretty name with a lovely meaning…

It is a beautiful name with a beautiful meaning but I would have to agree with your family that it is difficult to say. It is also the name of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty so some people may associate it with that.
I would definitely steer clear of a mn with more ‘r’ sounds!
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is lovely.
I love it! I do agree though it is difficult to say…one of the reasons I have stayed clear from it in my top baby names…
do you like [name]Annora[/name] or [name]Honora[/name]? These names seem to be of a similar feel but easier to pronounce…
I’ve never been a big fan of [name]Aurora[/name], but if you love it that’s what matters.
Im not a fan given that I live in CO and [name]Aurora[/name] is a part of [name]Denver[/name]. Also, I cant imagine a young child being able to properly say [name]Aurora[/name]. I couldnt say my Rs until I was 6, [name]Aurora[/name] would have been A-wow-wa
[name]Just[/name] something to think about.
I think [name]Aurora[/name] is beautiful and sophisticated, it is classic and timeless. While it may be difficult for some to say, especially small children who have a tough time with the r’s, I think it’s beauty makes it worth it. I don’t think that it is a name that people won’t know how to say, it just seems like it might take a little more effort to think about pronouncing correctly. If you are looking for a nickname you could go with the adorable [name]Rory[/name]!
I don’t think [name]Aurora[/name] is so difficult to pronounce. Maybe for children who aren’t yet able to produce /r/, but not for adults. There’s a city near where I grew up called [name]Aurora[/name] and no one ever had trouble saying it. I think it’s pretty.
Alora is very similiar and much easier to say
[name]Aurora[/name] is such a fantastic choice. A little bit classic, and [name]Fairy[/name] tale inspiration but sounds very very modern.
What do you think of [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Dawn[/name]? I really like them together. Same meaning, same strength and depth too.
I would never repeat the meaning in one name, and I’d probably avoid it for siblings too.
Yeah, I’m not really a fan of [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Dawn[/name]. It’s like giving your daughter the same name twice. I personally believe every name should be special!
