Aurora's middle name

[name_m]Just[/name_m] musing… What name would you use to complete this combination; [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] _____ [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]?

We’ve discussed; [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], Esmée, [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_u]Josie[/name_u], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] but I’m open to suggestions!

With using two middle names, I worry about length and ‘heaviness’. I wonder if a two syllable name would be best with using two middle names especially with the very vowel/r heavy, [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]?

Also, I’m not sure if this is the forum to ask but while I’m here… Are [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] too close as siblings? It’s the “Ror” and “Dor” rhyming that’s putting me off. Nicknames will be used though, if that makes a difference? ([name_f]Aura[/name_f]/[name_f]Rora[/name_f] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u]) [name_f]TIA[/name_f]! Xx

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Ursaline [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] looks super nice to me.

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] would be my pick! I don’t think it’s too close to [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
Suggestions: [name_f]Posey[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Mila[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Ida[/name_f], [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], [name_f]Nephele[/name_f], [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Delia[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Birdie[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] are great between [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]. I think my favourite is [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]. I feel [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is too long and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_f]Esme[/name_f] don’t work well because of their vowel beginnings.

@18_25 - [name_f]Ursuline[/name_f] is a name I haven’t come across before. Unusual but very sweet.

@emmievis - Some lovely suggestions there, thank you!

@araminty - Those have been concerns of mine too. I worried [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] was also too much but it seems the most popular option so far lol. I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] but I worry about the repeating R and O sounds with it.

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] is gorgeous!! [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] or [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] is also pretty :).

Thanks, @musicwaves. I’ve been unsure on those combinations (despite loving them) so it’s nice to hear they work.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], and [name_f]Willow[/name_f] for you. I think you’re on the right track with two-syllable names.

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Maris[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_u]Vega[/name_u] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Celie[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]

@geeknamezyo - Thank you for the lovely suggestions. I think we probably are best off sticking to a two syllable name with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] as it’s quite a heavy name in itself… Maybe three at a push. It’s a pity that most of the two syllable names I love also share heavy O sounds lol ([name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f])
