We are expecting baby 3 in [name]September[/name] and can not decide on a name. Her duet date is our daughter [name]Allison[/name] [name]Joy[/name]'s 1 st birthday. We are in love the name [name]Addison[/name] but feel it may be too close to [name]Allison[/name]. We are also considering [name]Avery[/name], [name]Aubrey[/name], Adadline, and Annalyn. Help time is running out!
I love [name]Addison[/name] and I don’t think it’s too close to [name]Allison[/name] at all. I would use it. I really love your other options as well, especially [name]Aubrey[/name] and Annalyn! Great name choices!
I like [name]Addison[/name]. It is similar to [name]Allison[/name], but my favorite names are very similar. I just love the flow and sound of them. I think [name]Allison[/name] and [name]Addison[/name] sound beautiful together
I’d try to find something that starts with a different letter to preserve your child’s sense of individuality, especially if she’s going to have to share her birthday (as well as her parents).
Hmm [name]Allison[/name] and [name]Addison[/name] are way to close in my book. [name]Avery[/name] is cute but doesn’t really jive with your sibset. [name]Adeline[/name] works and you still get to the nickname [name]Addie[/name]. I personally am not a big fan of matchy names and I think a 3rd A is going to leave you stuck if you have any other children. Have you considered some other names? Another letter?
What about
[name]Adelaide[/name]
[name]Avalon[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Auden[/name]
[name]Ariel[/name]
[name]Annabel[/name]
[name]Annalise[/name]
I know a family with 4 kids - all starting with A. [name]Ashley[/name], [name]Adam[/name], [name]Aaron[/name], and [name]Avery[/name]. It provided a nice family identity.
I do think [name]Addison[/name] is too close to [name]Allison[/name]. Have you considered [name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Adele[/name], or [name]Adalyn[/name]? Of your choices, I live [name]Aubrey[/name] and [name]Avery[/name] but prefer [name]Audrey[/name].
[name]Austin[/name], [name]Allison[/name], and [name]Adele[/name]
[name]Austin[/name], [name]Allison[/name], and [name]Audrey[/name]
Other ideas:
[name]Austin[/name], [name]Allison[/name], and [name]Ariana[/name]
[name]Austin[/name], [name]Allison[/name], and [name]April[/name]
[name]Austin[/name], [name]Allison[/name], and [name]Andrea[/name]
[name]Austin[/name], [name]Allison[/name], and [name]Annette[/name]
Def too close. It’s the same except 2 d’s in place of 2 l’s. I would go with [name]Avery[/name], [name]Audrey[/name], [name]Adeline[/name] (-line pronunciation since the -lyn pronunciation rhymes with [name]Allison[/name]), or maybe [name]Adrienne[/name]?
I think [name]Addison[/name] is far too close to [name]Allison[/name], I like [name]Avery[/name] the most.
I think they are too close. [name]Just[/name] imagine calling your daughters. I personally think anyone would get toungetied trying to call both daughters to, example, the dinner table. [name]Avery[/name] is my favorite out of your choices.
[name]Way[/name] too close! I wouldn’t even chose [name]Addison[/name] for my child since my niece’s name is [name]Allison[/name]! Too confusing! [name]Addie[/name] and [name]Allie[/name]?
Go with one of your other choices. I like Annalyn the best. It’s not boyish or too popular. Annalyn is sweet.
[name]Addison[/name] is way too close for a little sister to [name]Allison[/name] who will possibly be sharing her birthday as well. My sister’s birthday is a year from mine, in the same month, and her name sounds similar to mine. My mom always talked about how much she loved it. I always hated it. So, I recommend you don’t use it. Of your other choices, I like [name]Aubrey[/name]. Other names you could use are [name]Audrey[/name], [name]Annabelle[/name], Annaleise, [name]Ariel[/name], or [name]Amber[/name] (similar retro feel to match [name]Allison[/name], but with its own distinct sound).
Thank you everyone for all your wonderful ideas and suggestions. After much dilberation we have narrowed it down to [name]Avery[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Adaline[/name] [name]Nicole[/name]. We still have to make a final decision to let us know what you think.
[name]Austin[/name] [name]Xavier[/name], [name]Allison[/name] [name]Joy[/name] and…
With [name]Austin[/name] and [name]Allison[/name], I would choose [name]Avery[/name] because that sounds the most different from the other two.
[name]Addison[/name]/[name]Allison[/name] and [name]Austin[/name] are way tooooo similar. [name]Aubrey[/name] shares the same beginning as [name]Austin[/name] and I don’t like the other two at all. Annalyn is too close to the word “anal” and Adadline is odd (typo?). I think [name]Annabeth[/name] would be a great pick. If you’re going to have the same initials for siblings at least have different endings.
Thank you, I couldn’t agree more. I tried telling my husband that Annalyn was tooo close to analnd [name]Adaline[/name] was too old. [name]Allison[/name] has an " old " name as she was named after my grandmother. [name]Both[/name] my hubby and I unusual first names and our last name is not easy at all which I why I wanted the kids to have common first names. My personal choice is [name]Avery[/name].
[name]Allison[/name] and [name]Addison[/name] are [name]WAY[/name] too similar. I would choose [name]Avery[/name].
Definitely [name]Avery[/name] [name]Grace[/name]!
before i even read the whole post I thought of [name]Avery[/name]!
