Austin as the middle

[name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_u]Austyn[/name_u] ([name_m]Austin[/name_m]) and I was wondering what your thoughts are on…

If I had a son and his first name is [name_m]Austin[/name_m]?
And if I had a son and his middle name is [name_m]Austin[/name_m]?

And what are your thoughts on the name [name_m]Austin[/name_m]?

I like the idea of using [name_m]Austin[/name_m] as your son’s middle name. I love when people use family names.

I think using it as a first name might get kind of confusing. I’m not a fan of fathers giving their son’s their name either.

[name_m]Austin[/name_m] is an ok name but it’s one of those names where people can guess when you were born. It feels like it was the most popular about 15 years ago so I would guess an [name_m]Austin[/name_m] to be about 15 years old. Of course that won’t be the case with your son so it’s probably not a big deal.

I have always liked austin and i have only known one and he would be seventy now. It is a smart preppie name like preston mason and connor. I would definitely use it
