[name_f]Nova[/name_f] is a pretty popular and well known radio station in Aus (well, it especially is where I live). Would you ever consider naming a daughter [name_f]Nova[/name_f] when it’s so tied to the radio? This is the only reason why I don’t have [name_f]Nova[/name_f] on my list

I wouldn’t consider the connection too strong not to use the name. I think since people are increasingly daring with their choices that it’s nearly a non issue.
Sure, people might make references to the radio station, but every name has some sort of connection and this definitely isn’t a negative connection.
I honestly think of super nova first, but didn’t think of radio until you mentioned it.
I thought of [name_f]Nova[/name_f] Peris, but now that you mention it- the radio station link would be annoying.
I’m an Ausberry too and wouldn’t have immediately associated it with the radio station. Perhaps it’s because I’m a name nerd, perhaps it’s because I don’t listen to that station… I wouldn’t strike it off only for that reason though, it’s not a negative association.
