We are primarly looking for pronounceable and spellable. However, with [name]Johnson[/name] as her last name, we are also looking to avoid double names in the same school. Similar suggestions are also welcome!
Thoughts on: [name]Autumn[/name], [name]Lacey[/name], [name]Corinne[/name], [name]Anya[/name]?
[name]Autumn[/name] - My runner-up favorite, behind [name]Anya[/name]. I think this has a pretty sound to it and I personally love the images of autumn that come to my mind.
[name]Lacey[/name] - A little dated to me, I don’t really like it.
[name]Corinne[/name] - I don’t like this one either, though I think it would fit a wide range of personalities.
[name]Anya[/name] - My favorite! [name]Anya[/name] reminds me of exotic locations with clear blue oceans and tropical rainforests. I really love it!
I do really like [name]Anya[/name], though. You could just pronounce it differently like [name]Ann[/name]-ya? Or what about another A name: [name]Annabel[/name], [name]Aurelia[/name], [name]Athena[/name], [name]Abilene[/name], [name]August[/name] or [name]Augustina[/name]?
[name]Autumn[/name]- my favorite season. I’m not into Au names like [name]Audrey[/name] ect but it’s nice
[name]Lacey[/name]- Nice & girly without being overly fussy.
[name]Corinne[/name]- love it as kuh-rinn…people say this many different ways. I dislike Core-een. Core-inn is ok.
[name]Anya[/name]- my favorite of your list! Manages to be simple & beautiful & it flows well with the ln!
Wow good spot to the [name]Anya[/name] [name]Johnson[/name] person. Sigh. It is a nice name, although I prefer it as a nn for [name]Anna[/name]. I quite like [name]Anna[/name] although I guess an [name]Anna[/name] [name]Johnson[/name] runs the risk of being more than one.
I agree with posters finding [name]Lacey[/name] and [name]Autumn[/name] a little dated, although I still find [name]Autumn[/name] in particular quite pretty. [name]Lacey[/name] is pretty too but I don’t know, kind of surname-y and so it feels a little like a law firm name or something.
I really love the name [name]Corinne[/name]! I think that’s your best of these and it works quite well. It is a little sing-songy with your surname, but not badly so. You could consider [name]Cora[/name] instead?
So I vote in this order 1) [name]Corinne[/name] 2) [name]Autumn[/name] 3) [name]Lacey[/name] 4) [name]Anya[/name] if you’re still considering it.
I mean, [name]Johnson[/name] is not so common as slang for that, and it’s such a common surname.
[name]Sonia[/name] or [name]Anastasia[/name] hold any appeal by any chance?
I love [name]Anna[/name] ([name]Mae[/name]) [name]Johnson[/name], however DH is not so sure. I also adore [name]Cora[/name], but my cousin used it two months ago, leading me to [name]Corinne[/name]. I like [name]Calla[/name], is it likely to be mispronounced? I also like [name]Willa[/name] and [name]Willow[/name], however baby’s first cousin [name]Will[/name] lives a mile down the road. [name]Jenna[/name] is my name, interesting that it was suggested!
Well, if you’re looking for a name that isn’t so common I’d go with [name]Corinne[/name]. It just seems so versatile; it’s a pretty girly name and yet it could easily suit a tomboy, or any type of character for that matter. And I don’t think there would be another [name]Corinne[/name] in her school; I’ve only ever heard the name once. I also like [name]Anya[/name] though
[name]Autumn[/name]-[name]Love[/name] this! My fav out of these names!
[name]Lacey[/name]-This is pretty, maybe getting a little dated…?
[name]Corrine[/name]-So pretty. [name]Lovely[/name].
[name]Anya[/name]-Like this. Not my fav on your list though.
Well,I was going to go [name]Anya[/name] til I read that. Yikes. So…I guess I’m going to have to go [name]Corinne[/name], tho I don’t love it. [name]Lacey[/name] and [name]Autumn[/name] both feel dated to me, but I like [name]Autumn[/name] better. Not sure if I should say this, but our dog’s name is [name]Laci[/name], and we didn’t even name her, we adopted her and that was her name. On the other hand our other dog’s name is [name]Jules[/name], and we still almost named our DD [name]Juliana[/name], nn [name]Jules[/name], so I guess it’s not the dog name problem that bothers me on [name]Laci[/name], it’s the datedness.
Ooh, far and away I love [name]Anna[/name] [name]Mae[/name]!! Also [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Willa[/name]! Would you call her [name]Anna[/name] [name]Mae[/name]? I love that, but it does sound like Anime…
I think [name]Corinne[/name] [name]Johnson[/name] sounds pretty. And [name]Corinne[/name], I think, is way less common than [name]Cora[/name] (and what [name]Cora[/name] will be).
I like [name]Anna[/name] ([name]Mae[/name]) [name]Johnson[/name] as well.
I can see some pronunciation issues with [name]Calla[/name] (long a or short a?). And I do think [name]Willa[/name] and [name]Willow[/name] may be too similar to [name]Will[/name] down the road.
Personally, I think [name]Corinne[/name] [name]Johnson[/name] is the best of all of them.

Having the same issue here with [name]Anya[/name]. My two fav names are [name]Zara[/name] and [name]Anya[/name]. Having twins and one will have a Z name so I prefer not to have two Z names So that eliminates [name]Zara[/name]. Then I figure out the [name]Anya[/name] issue with [name]Johnson[/name] and start from scratch. It has been months and I still can’t find anything I like and me and husband agree on. I toyed with [name]Alana[/name], [name]Ava[/name], [name]Ada[/name], [name]Naia[/name], [name]Rania[/name], [name]Reyna[/name], Reya, Avana, Azara. Not in love with any of them…it would just be settling. I don’t want a common name since our last name is already as common as it gets. Still in love with [name]Anya[/name]. It is global, strong, not common but not out there, professional and not overly cutesy for a grown woman, initials work well. Considering pronouncing [name]Ann[/name] Ya though I prefer Awn Ya. I really do not want to settle on some other name I don’t love over the [name]Johnson[/name] issue that may not even be that big of a deal in reality.
