I picked [name]Aveline[/name] because I think Avaliese could lead to more pronuncation and spelling problems. I posted on the blog about it.
Avaliese is taking the ending from [name]Anneliese[/name]. I pronounce [name]Anneliese[/name] as ah-nuh-lee-zuh (close to actual [name]German[/name] pronunciation). From reading posts in the forum, it seems that some people pronounce it [name]Anna[/name]-lees. So perhaps Avaliese is Ay-va-lees to whoever used it. To me it looks like Ay-va-lee-za.
