I’ve never met someone with that name, but think I would pronounce it Av-uh-leen.

I think I prefer the Av-uh-LEEN pronunciation so I’m glad that other people would pronounce it that way too

The Normans introduced this pretty name to [name_f]England[/name_f] so it’s [name_m]French[/name_m] and the correct pronunciation is “av-uh-LEEN” (never “ay” or “line”).

I’ve loved the name [name_f]Ava[/name_f] forever but its popularity makes me sad so when I found [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] it seemed like the perfect alternative and I’m so happy everyone thinks it’s pretty (it’s is quite likely that if I ever have a daughter this will be either a first or middle name, though obviously this could change)

Av-uh-leen. It’s such a cute name and a great way to get to [name_f]Ava[/name_f], which is adorable :).
