What are your thoughts on [name]Avia[/name]? I’ve heard it a few times over the past couple days, especially to do with a certain vlogging family, if you know who I’m talking about haha. 
Is it too similar to [name]Ava[/name] - do you think it would be constantly confused with it? And I say it Ay-vi-uh (with a long ‘vee’ sound), would that be how you would pronounce it as first glance? or Av-i-uh? I actually really like how it’s similar in sound to [name]Ava[/name] (which I think is such a pretty name too) but a little more fresh and unusual!
I read it as [name]Ah[/name]-vi-uh first because I have a friend named [name]Aviva[/name] that pronounces it Uh-vi-vuh. I can totally see it as Ay-vi-uh though. I quite like it. I think I like Ay-vi-uh best.
I’m a little lost on the pronunciation. I would pronounce it Ay-vee-uh… but you seem to be saying the I is strong, like the pronoun I (eye)? It looks very pretty written down. 
When I see that name I only think of [name]Avia[/name] [name]West[/name] a time share company, so I prefer something like [name]Aviva[/name]. At first glance I would pronounce it [name]Ah[/name]-vee-uh
If you’re looking for a different twist to [name]Ava[/name], I like [name]Aviva[/name] that sweetpeacelove mentioned. I know and [name]Aviva[/name] too and she’s just the coolest chick. Actually she has an amazing hyphenated last name that just over all sounds really awesome. But [name]Avia[/name] sounds like I never pronounce it the same way twice. I have to say it a few times to get it right.

Nope, by Ay-vi-uh I mean it with a “vee” sound like you think. I guess I should have been more clear aha.
I guess we all have different associations! Apparently it’s also a shoe company, but that doesn’t bother me.
I think [name]Avia[/name] is pretty. Before opening the thread I assumed it was pronounced Ay-vee-uh. Like [name]Ava[/name] with an extra syllable. I do prefer the less complicated [name]Ava[/name], but I can definitely see the appeal.

I just can’t think of anything except ‘aviary’ when I see it. I also think it looks as if someone really wanted to use ‘[name]Ava[/name]’ but was worried it was too common.

SO weird to see this! [name]Avia[/name] is a name that caught my attention and kind of made me go looking for names and put me on my road t name-nerdom and this was almost a decade ago!
It’s not my style anymore but I think it’s a nice name. It’s Hebrew, a variant spelling of Aviya, which is a unisex name - in the Bible, [name]Abijah[/name] was used on both men and women, so it’s got interesting, unisex roots.
