What is the general opinion on the name Avonleigh? Could you see this being used in real life & what would you think if you met a child/teen/woman with this name? Thank you.
I like it and I can see it being used, but only spelled Avonlea. It would make a lovely middle name. I would think the parent had interesting taste in names if I met an Avonlea. If it was spelled Avonleigh I might be a bit thrown by the spelling.
I know a little girl by this name except I think she spells it Avonlea. Her nn is Avvy. At first I thought she was [name]Abby[/name] which is probably common for her. I have a good association with the name from [name]Anne[/name] of [name]Green[/name] Gables, so I find it pretty!

I, also, would like it best as Avonlea, the way it’s spelled in the [name]Anne[/name] of [name]Green[/name] Gables books. The Avonleigh spelling is overly trendy for me, especially since the original is already quite feminine-looking.
The name’s not exactly my style, but I do love literary names, so I’d like to see it on someone else’s daughter for sure. 
The -[name]Leigh[/name] ending hurts my eyes.
Avonlea is nice, I wouldn’t mind seeing it.

I can see this used as a name, but like the others I like it spelled Avonlea. Avonleigh looks like the name of a subdivision.
Hahaha! A subdivision! I much prefer Avonlea; I had only heard the name, not seen it, so I didn’t know how to spell it. I’m glad people are recieving Avonlea well, though. I really love it.
I love this name! I actually just asked a question about a middle name for it I defiitely prefer the spelling Avonlea.
Avonlea is cute this way, but Avonleigh is not my style.
Avonleigh - I think of [name]Avon[/name], and uber trendeeness. Avonlea is one thing, and I’d like it in the middle.
I would not take a woman named Avonleigh seriously.
I love the show Road to Avonlea so I think this is a great name. I’m not sure if I would personally use it, I think I would get strange reactions from my family/friends. Maybe as a middle name I would. But I definitely like it!! It’s pretty and feminine.

When I see [name]Lea[/name], think [name]Leah[/name], as in [name]Azalea[/name]. It doesn’t say [name]Lee[/name]/[name]Leigh[/name] to me. But to each his own.
