Year 1: We go on a business trip to Puerto [name_m]Rico[/name_m] and stay there for a month.

Year 5: [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] decides to write a focusing on a particular life experience. It’s about his tough childhood. His father was abusive and died when [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] was only 9 years old. Because his mother couldn’t process this the right way, she turned to drugs. She died of an overdose when [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] was 12. After the death of his mother he and his siblings lived at their grandmothers’.

Year 12: When [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is only 7 months old, I find out I’m pregnant again! At the ultrasound we saw that we’re having another daughter! Unfortunately [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] couldn’t be there when I give birth to her, the twins were very sick that week and since we live in another country than the rest of our family, we decided he stayed home with them. I have a great idea resulting in a new invention/product! I create a new teething toy that is 100% sustainable. Although my product does not become too famous, I still get quite an amount of recognition for it.

They enjoy walking around [name_u]Havana[/name_u], talking to the locals and trying lots of food.

Year 5: [name_f]Nora[/name_f] becomes pregnant again, but experiences a miscarriage after a couple of months. They are devastated, but still wish to give [name_f]Florence[/name_f] a sibling.

Year 6: [name_m]Philip[/name_m] quits his job to be able to spend more time with his family. He gets a new job closer to home and with more flexible hours.

Year 7: After having trouble conceiving, they turn to fertility drugs. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] ends up pregnant with a baby boy. They find out about the pregnancy after a psychic approaches to them on the street to congratulate them on the pregnancy. Year 8: The Browns move to an apartment in Cambridge, Massachusetts for 11 months, so [name_f]Nora[/name_f] can get her PhD on childhood psychology.

Year 12: While doing the groceries, [name_f]Nora[/name_f] undergoes a near-death experience when hundreds of concentrated soup cans fall on her head. She is terrified, but now has a new appreciation for life and decides to start painting.

Year 13: The Browns get a new pet, a brown bunny named Sir Thumper.

They have a lot of fun playing with their cousins.

She is a joy to be around, and everyone is grateful for her.

The kids help to care for her, but in the end [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_m]Philip[/name_m] end up doing all the work. Regardless, she is a great dog and loves to be pet and run outside.

Year 18: They redo their home! They have been saving up money for a while now, and they are finally able to use it. They finish the basement and put a ping pong table, a library and a TV down there. They also expand the kitchen and paint the rooms.

Year 19: [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_m]Philip[/name_m] have been experiencing difficulties in their marriage, so they decide to try marriage counseling. It works, and they now have a great relationship.

Year 20: The Browns move permanently to a two-story town house in Iceland. They miss they family and friends, but Iceland is great and they love their new house.

(Lemmings were forcibly killed, the documentary claiming that it’s a natural ‘mass suicide’ ritual). The family, outraged and distraught, attempted to sue the company. However at a time when animal abuse was rampant and widely accepted in Hollywood, nobody payed much attention to a middle-class family with no celebrity potential.
1959: The family decided that they needed a new pet to help heal after the loss of their beloved chipmunk. They traded a year of indentured servitude for a lonely old farmer in return for the runt of the latest litter of pigs! Named [name_f]Fabiola[/name_f], this lovely little pig quickly became everyone’s new best friend.
1960: The year of indentured servitude at the farm ended- and everyone was grateful. The farmer and [name_m]Alessio[/name_m] were fighting on a daily basis and, on the last day of work, he screamed; “I quit!” Good thing he could at that point. [name_f]Fabiola[/name_f], [name_m]Alessio[/name_m], and [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] were left on the street. But they were relieved to be away from the farmer.
1961: The lack of a job left a lot of time for fornication and, surely enough, [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] became pregnant! Everybody in the household, even [name_f]Fabiola[/name_f] was ecstatic. Unfortunately, [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] experienced a miscarriage a few months after the discovery and although the family was distraught-- two years after the loss of [name_u]Justice[/name_u], they had only recently three fourths recovered – they knew that they wouldn’t lost hope and kept trying for a child.
1962: [name_m]Alessio[/name_m]’s estranged sister runs off a cliff ([name_f]Alessandra[/name_f], deeply wrought with Catholic guilt, was convinced that this similarity with [name_u]Justice[/name_u]’s death- cliffs- was a punishment from a higher power for that one time she smoked a clove cigarette in eighth grade.) She never let on two the two children, [name_f]Alethea[/name_f] [name_f]Irma[/name_f] and [name_u]Alex[/name_u] [name_m]Kane[/name_m], who were left behind and sent to live with the couples. Although he’d never admit it, [name_m]Alessio[/name_m] (ironically enough) thought this was a blessing. The twins had been through a traumatic experience but were given lots of love and support and [name_f]Fabiola[/name_f] quickly adapted to her new role as therapy pig (she also loved all the belly rubs that came along with the energetic seven year olds!)
1963: On a family jaunt through the park, [name_f]Fabiola[/name_f] made a friend! [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], as the family later deemed the Tuxedo kitten, looked familiar… remember that farmer? He’d also bred kittens and, surely enough as stated on [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]’s collar, she had been his kitten. The fictional world I’ve created is a quite small. [name_m]Alessio[/name_m] and [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f], much to the delight of the children and [name_f]Fabiola[/name_f], quietly but unanimously decided that this would be a nice final stick-it-to-the-man gesture. ([name_m]Don[/name_m]’t worry, [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] went straight to church the next morning and repented. But she knew in her heart that [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] would be much happier with her loving family than in a kitten mill.) They didn’t tell the children about the farmer until years later.
1964: [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] and [name_m]Alessio[/name_m] decided to take a nice weekend trip to the farmer’s house to serve up some revenge… thus, their secret [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] and [name_m]Clyde[/name_m] alter egos were born. But nobody chased after them; all the young strong men had been drafted to Vietnam.
1965: The parents again decided to take a weekend vacation, this time to a yoga retreat upstate. They meditated and had a ton of tantric sex and when they came back the rest of the family noted that the pair was much more relaxed.
1966: [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] goes on a business trip of sorts to help teach religious classes back home in [name_f]Argentina[/name_f] for a few months. [name_m]Alessio[/name_m] stays behind to man the fort but there was no question of the kids staying! [name_f]Alethea[/name_f] and [name_u]Alex[/name_u], now eleven, were excited to see their parents’ hometown and spent weeks practicing their Rioplatense Spanish. 1968: The family moves to a two-story house a few blocks away for five months while the old house undergoes renovations.

Year 1: I have a near-death experience when I get into a terrifying car accident. This has made me appreciate everything even more!
Year 2: We permanently move into our new one-story townhouse in [name_u]Dallas[/name_u], [name_u]Texas[/name_u].
Year 3: I have to go on a business trip to [name_m]Costa[/name_m] [name_f]Rica[/name_f] to check out some of the hotels that want to close a contract with our travel agency. I’ve organized that [name_m]Finlo[/name_m] can come with me!
Year 4: I’ve entered a contest and won something I’ve wanted for a while! Two tickets to this amazing festival, I’m looking forward to going there with [name_m]Finlo[/name_m].
Year 5: [name_m]Finlo[/name_m] and I have our first baby after trying for a little over a year. I went into labor a few weeks sooner than anticipated. Sias’ first name is after Finlo’s father [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and his middle name is obviously after Sias’ father. He was born on [name_u]November[/name_u] 30th.
Year 6: We temporarily move to [name_u]Houston[/name_u], [name_u]Texas[/name_u] where we move into a single-story house.
Year 7: After having trouble conceiving Sias, we’ve turned to fertility drugs for this baby. Since we’ve done this, it’s possible I’m pregnant with multiples and I am! I give birth to our identical twin sons on [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] [name_u]Day[/name_u]! This made the holiday’s extremely hectic. Our sons’ names are [name_m]Bode[/name_m] [name_m]Colton[/name_m] [name_m]Chen[/name_m] and [name_m]Lucan[/name_m] [name_u]Micah[/name_u] [name_m]Chen[/name_m]. Bode’s first name is after my brother’s middle name [name_u]Bo[/name_u], Lucan’s first name is after my late paternal grandfather [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] and [name_u]Micah[/name_u] is Finlo’s brothers name.
Year 8: I decide to write a book focusing on my troubled youth. [name_f]My[/name_f] parents were not good parents to me and my siblings, so when I was 9, my foster parents took me in. They were so good to me that they eventually adopted us into their loving home. This has made it my purpose to be a far better mother than mine ever was.
Year 9: We permanently move into a single-story house in [name_m]Boise[/name_m], Idaho.
Year 10: After our move we decide to enroll Sias into a new school and [name_m]Bode[/name_m] and [name_m]Lucan[/name_m] into a new daycare.
Year 11: I become pregnant but sadly miscarriage after a couple of months. This makes our dream to have more children even more strong.
Year 12: We try again and this time we’re successful! I give birth to our daughter. After the baby was born, there was almost a mix-up between our daughter and another baby girl. Thankfully I found out soon thereafter. We name our daughter [name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] “Goldie” [name_m]Chen[/name_m]. [name_f]Anya[/name_f] is Finlo’s mothers name. [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is a family name, but we decide to call her [name_f]Goldie[/name_f].
Year 13: [name_f]My[/name_f] brother [name_u]Bo[/name_u] and his wife [name_f]Yara[/name_f] get the opportunity to go on a monthlong trip around the world. Their children [name_f]Alessia[/name_f], [name_f]Annika[/name_f] and [name_f]Aella[/name_f] stay with us for the summer.
Year 14: Me and my best friend [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] open our own lunchroom. We’re so happy with our decision.
Year 15: We permanently move into two-story townhouse in [name_u]New[/name_u] Orleans, [name_f]Louisiana[/name_f]. The kids absolutely love it here! So do [name_m]Finlo[/name_m] and I.
Year 16: I give birth to our fourth baby boy! I found out I was pregnant when I had to take a pregnancy test before a surgery. [name_u]Julian[/name_u] is Finlo’s dad middle name.

Year 18: We have our second daughter! [name_f]Every[/name_f] ultrasound however showed we’d be having our fifth son. We had a name picked out and everything: [name_u]Rio[/name_u] [name_u]Carlisle[/name_u] [name_m]Chen[/name_m], but since it’s a girl we had to switch it up. We got the name [name_u]Rio[/name_u] from when [name_m]Finlo[/name_m] and I met a charming person from a foreign country at a restaurant while I was six months pregnant. We absolutely loved the name as soon as we heard it. We decided [name_u]Rio[/name_u] was as good a name for a boy as a girl, so we’re keeping it for our daughter. The middle name changed to [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]: [name_u]Rio[/name_u] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_m]Chen[/name_m].
Year 19: I volunteer at the local animal shelter. I’m so moved by the orphaned animals, that I end up adopting one. It’s a two-year-old [name_u]Golden[/name_u] Retriever that we name [name_m]Lucifer[/name_m].
Year 20: We take in fifteen-year-old girl [name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_m]Marshall[/name_m] and her nine-year-old brother, [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Marshall[/name_m] from foster care. They stay with us for nine months and afterwards they go live with their grandmother.

Not only that, but she insisted that they name her after a relative, [name_f]Olga[/name_f], whose name [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] both found hideous.
