Help us decide [name_u]Axel[/name_u] or [name_u]Hunter[/name_u]…
Axel ____?
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
Should also add the surname is another name for deer, we aren’t sure how we feel about [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] after realising that but we liked it so much before…
Open to any other suggestions as we are really struggling with making a short list
Alternative for [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] that I often see is the name [name_u]Wilder[/name_u]! I personally like that better than if you were to use [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] which is far more aggressive (and personally not my favorite), [name_u]Axel[/name_u] is a beautiful name so might I suggest [name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_m]Rodrick[/name_m], which I find compliments and adds to your use of long but vintage names for middle names, wild cards are the name [name_m]Bastien[/name_m] which I feel would suit your name taste, and the name [name_m]Edwin[/name_m]. I also really like [name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_m]Cane[/name_m], but don’t know if that suits your taste
I think if you surname is a word for deer, I would use [name_u]Axel[/name_u]. [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] “Deer” would very much bring to mind deer hunting.
Halston, [name_m]Harlan[/name_m], [name_u]Huxley[/name_u], [name_m]Huntley[/name_m], [name_m]Fisher[/name_m], [name_u]Wilder[/name_u], and [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] all remind me of [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], too.
I LOVE [name_u]Axel[/name_u]! [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] is nice but if [name_u]Axel[/name_u] works better with your last name that is a very important consideration, and [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] takes me to thinking of hunting.
I like alliteration feeling that it makes a memorable name so [name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] sounds nice to me. Other suggestions…
Axel is the way forward. I think [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] with your surname is way to aggressive conjuring up unattractive images of deer hunting which personally I wouldn’t want my child’s name to be associated with. Really like the suggestion of [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] as an alternative to [name_u]Hunter[/name_u]. [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] is handsome, outdoorsy and wholesome also avoids awkward associations.

I prefer [name_u]Axel[/name_u]. [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] is too violent and unprofessional to me. Also, [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] rhymes. You might like [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] or [name_u]Archer[/name_u]. Maybe [name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_u]Constantine[/name_u] or [name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] as a combo.
I agree that [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] w/your ln may be pretty awkward. I like [name_u]Axel[/name_u] better anyway. It’s not my cup of tea, but it’s pretty cool & fairly interesting. [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] is kind of over done anyway. I think that [name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] would probably be fine.
I prefer [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] to [name_u]Axel[/name_u] but agree that it may not be the best with your last name.
I really like [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and the classic middle name. So if you go with [name_u]Axel[/name_u]
[name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]
[name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m]
[name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
[name_u]Axel[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]
I think maybe [name_m]Fisher[/name_m] / [name_u]Forest[/name_u] would be a good alternative for [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] .
The name [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] is not violent or unprofessional. Hunting has been essential to human survival for millennia. It still is. Not everyone has access to supermarkets. Additionally, [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] has been in the US top 100 for almost 30 years. If you don’t think there are professionals named [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] by now, you’re wrong.
Anyway. I would choose [name_u]Axel[/name_u] if your last name is Deer (or something similar) to keep his name from sounding like a joke.
