I’ve been crushing on these two names a lot lately, and I’m considering adding them to my list. I’m not sure EITHER really fits my general style, but I have outliers on my list as it is, so I’m not too worried about that bit. WDYT of the two names, and any combo ideas? So far, I’ve tossed about:

[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] completely matches seeing as [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] and [name_u]Arya[/name_u] and all those are on your list. [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] not as much but it doesn’t really matter
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f]! I’m a little bit obsessed with [name_f]Clover[/name_f] at the moment — such a sweet, fun name! I also really like [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] with [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f].
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is a dramatic name with plenty of good nn potential, I like it!
[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] certainly fits with the names in your signature, but I have to admit that it’s not a favourite of mine. Islas are everywhere where I live, and I occasionally encounter this as an alternative spelling (I know it’s not!) to make it more “unique”. I much prefer [name_f]Ayelet[/name_f].
That said, I adore your middle name options for [name_f]Ayla[/name_f], especially [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]!
[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is stunning! I love [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] ever so much more than the identically-pronounced [name_f]Isla[/name_f]; she’s sweeter, fresher, peppier and also more ladylike.
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] isn’t a particular favourite of mine but I do see the appeal. I like the ideas of [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] for a lovely springtimey feel.
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] are my favourites! I prefer [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] just a tad (maybe just because it’s one of my favourites), but I think the strong o and C sounds of both names work really nicely with Anatasia
A couple of other ideas that came to mind :Anatasia [name_f]Lola[/name_f], Anatasia [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] and Anatasia [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]

[name_f]Ayla[/name_f], however, I am OVER THE [name_f]MOON[/name_f] in love with, and am very much considering adding her to my list. I’m still a bit up-in-the-air about the combo, though; I’m still considering [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] and [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], and maybe even [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], and [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]? I’ve recently learned that my great-great grandmother’s middle name was [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], and I super want to fit her onto my list somewhere! (I’m also considering [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] as a fn with the nn [name_f]Lola[/name_f], so [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] isn’t my ONLY option for [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f].)
Any thoughts/ideas for further [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] combos? For what it’s worth, I say it like AY-lah, not like [name_f]Isla[/name_f]…

I’m just doing a bunch of themed signatures at the moment, so few (if any!) of the names in my signature right now reflect my actual taste–my top 5 is [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] “[name_f]Eva[/name_f]”, [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and [name_f]Grace[/name_f]–do you think [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] fits in well with those, as well?
I love them both!!! [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is so beautiful and [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] has me swooning. I think my favorite is [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. What about [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]? Kind of fits in with your style.
Thanks, @elsbeth! I’m a bit weird with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]–she’s really lovely but in general I find her a bit overrated–much like her play!–so I usually try to steer clear of her.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is really pretty, though! I go between loving her and being just… unimpressed? But I do like her in general. I’m glad you like both [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]!
