I am a teenage writer, but I am also obsessed with names :slight_smile:

I’ve always liked the name [name_f]Azure[/name_f] for a boy, but I’ve seen on the site that it is listed as a girl’s name. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’d be okay as a boy’s name? It always seemed more masculine to me…

In a book yes, in real life not so much. I don’t really see it as a name for either gender to be honest, it’s a nice color name but I just can’t imagine it on a human, sorry!

[name_f]My[/name_f] initial thought was girl, but I can definitely see it on a boy!

I love [name_f]Azure[/name_f], for a girl. I find it all girl. [name_f]Azure[/name_f] is a beautiful name.

I think [name_f]Azure[/name_f] is okay on a boy; it sounds kind of regal, to me. I feel the same way about [name_f]Indigo[/name_f], which I love on a boy (first heard it on a boy in a book), but Nameberry has it listed only as a girls name.

I knew a little boy named [name_f]Azure[/name_f], I think it’s a great name. It seems more like a boy than a girl to me, I think because of the similarity to [name_m]Asher[/name_m].
