I am making a character who has the nickname [name_u]Blue[/name_u], but I don’t want that to be her full name. I feel like she’s the kind of character who doesn’t like her first name all that much and so goes by [name_u]Blue[/name_u] instead cause she likes that better. I cannot think of any names that begin in the [name_u]Blu[/name_u]- sound that aren’t word names (like Blueberry). So I though that I’d make her middle name [name_u]Lou[/name_u] or something that starts with [name_u]Lou[/name_u]-, like [name_f]Louella[/name_f]/Luella, Luelle, or [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], etc., and then just make her first name something else that starts with B. For some reason, I can’t think of any B names I like, the ones on my list are [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], [name_f]Birdie[/name_f], etc. and I’m not a huge fan of those and none seem to fit the character (who is barely developed at all, I can tell she’s feisty though!). All the B names that are popping into my head are things like [name_f]Bertha[/name_f] and [name_f]Belinda[/name_f] and old-timey names that I can definitely see her disliking but still don’t fit her character.
So, I’d appreciate ideas of any other B names, preferably that start with the Buh- sound (like [name_f]Belinda[/name_f]), but if not that’s okay too. And if you have any other suggestions or comments I’d appreciate that too!
