[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] has some beautiful flow. It’s short simple yet unexpected and romantic. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] also combine the sounds of [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]El[/name_f] names so I feel it encompasses the other combos you love

I voted for [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] [name_m]Hampton[/name_m]. First, I LOVE the name [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. Also, I think it is the most interesting syllable arrangement. 1-3-1-2. Saying the name gives a bouncy cadence. Good luck with the birth and delivery. Best wishes…

I voted for [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] [name_m]Hampton[/name_m], as you can call her [name_f]Liv[/name_f], and/or many of the other nicknames for [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] as you and she like and that suit her. [name_f]My[/name_f] second choice would be [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] because [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is a great name and I like the juxtaposition of this long, classic name with short, modern [name_f]Liv[/name_f] as a first.

I voted for [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] [name_m]Hampton[/name_m]. I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f], it just feels more complete to me than [name_f]Claire[/name_f] does. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] to me is so bright and is a classic name without feeling dated at all. And I personally prefer only one middle, but really that’s just my opinion and I have no good rationale for it. If I could’ve picked two I also would’ve picked [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] [name_m]Hampton[/name_m], which is a close second for me. I like [name_f]Liv[/name_f] because it feels familiar with it being a common nickname for the popular [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], but is slightly more offbeat and I also love the verb association with “live.” To me it’s almost like a virtue name without actually specifically being one.

I voted [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] [name_m]Hampton[/name_m]. Style! in Spades! From following your posts I am liking [name_f]Liv[/name_f] best and I like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_u]Grey[/name_u] but for me I imagine saying “Olivia [name_u]Grey[/name_u] Hampton.” So distinctive and stylish
and with short version [name_f]Liv[/name_f], it’s just perfect!
Very best wishes for a wonderful birth.

I love both of the [name_f]Liv[/name_f] combos but also the [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. Good luck :two_hearts:

Thank you! I do love really love the flow as well. The only thing I’m worried about with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is the association with the Disney [name_f]Clarabelle[/name_f] Cow character - ugh! I see from your profile that you are based in [name_f]Canada[/name_f]. I am as well! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think this would be a common association in [name_f]Canada[/name_f]? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you know many Clara’s?

@Maggie_1234 Clara is perfect and I don’t associate it with a cow. If you were looking at actually calling her Clarabelle, I would advise against it, but Clara is a farmiliar classic with lot’s of history.
If Clara is not feeling quite right, I still like Olivia for you. In all your earlier posts, when you were talking about Olivia, you seemed really happy with it. You could call her Liv so you can use another name you love. I know you were previously concerned about how popular Olivia is, but you should pick the name you truly love.

[name_f]Clara[/name_f] on its own in no way makes me think of a cow or Disney’s [name_f]Clarabelle[/name_f] . If you were going for middle name [name_f]Belle[/name_f] that’s be a different story. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is a name that gives me nutcracker and sugar plum fairy vibes.

[name_f]My[/name_f] first association with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] isn’t [name_f]Clarabelle[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] first thought is the Nutcracker. She may get the association at some point in her life (especially because [name_u]Mickey[/name_u] Mouse Clubhouse is a popular kids show right now and [name_f]Clarabelle[/name_f] is a character on the show), so if you absolutely can’t stand it then maybe avoid this name, but I really don’t see why [name_f]Clarabelle[/name_f] would be a negative association anyway. I nannied a girl named [name_f]Clara[/name_f] (she’s about 5 years old now), and honestly the name didn’t automatically make me think of anything when I said it, it was just her name, if that makes sense?

I voted [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. I think [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is absolutely beautiful & flows so nicely with [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. Plus you can use [name_f]Liv[/name_f] as a nickname!

Definitely prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f] over [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] has the best flow to it. Also I think [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Liv[/name_f] are just so popular these days you’ll find she’ll be one of so many, whereas [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is classic and familiar but you don’t hear it everyday. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] 100% gets my vote :two_hearts:

[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is cute, but [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] sounds better.

Voted [name_f]Clara[/name_f] & saw your reservations after have to say that [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is an absolute favorite of mine and when I head or hear the name for some reason it reminds me of light blue clouds :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
I definitely also associate with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] from the nutcracker.
Absolutely beautiful and classic and just a bit unexpected. It just has a sparkle to it.

Names that remind me of [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are:

[name_f]Estella[/name_f]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]

I would personally rather be a Liv Charlotte or Claire Eloise than a Clara but I do think Clara Grey Hampton has a better flow since there’s no middle. Liv Grey Hampton seems strange by itself because it reads “live grey” and Claire Grey Hampton by itself seems like “clear grey.” So if “Grey” has to stay I would say Clara Grey Hampton even though Claire Eloise and Liv Charlotte would definitely be my first choices with just Hampton!!!

As a side note Claire Ella reminds me of “Cruella” so I’d rule that one out myself

I voted for [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u], changed it to [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u], changed it back to C.E.G., then changed it back again! [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are a very close call for me, but I like the flow of [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] [name_m]Hampton[/name_m] better. That said, one’s full name isn’t said very often, [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] [name_m]Hampton[/name_m] certainly doesn’t have terrible flow, and I love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. I just think I’d prefer being [name_f]Clara[/name_f] to [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. But it’s SO close!! I don’t think you should worry about [name_f]Clarabelle[/name_f] the Cow. [name_f]My[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] associations are the Nutcracker, [name_u]Doctor[/name_u] Who, and the founder of the [name_u]Red[/name_u] [name_u]Cross[/name_u].
