Woohoo! Thanks for starting this. I just found out I’m expecting and one of the more sophisticated due date calculators (that actually factor in different cycle lengths and luteal phases) put my [name_m]EDD[/name_m] at [name_f]April[/name_f] 1st so that’s what I’m going with until a medical professional says otherwise
I got my positive test when I was 2 days late, so fingers crossed for you! It’s a bit lonely on this thread so far, here’s hoping you help me get the party started!
[name_m]Just[/name_m] got a faint pos test on Friday, which was only 8 days post ovulation…have confirmed with another couple of tests and the line has gotten darker, so I think it’s for real Due [name_f]April[/name_f] 14th!
Congratulations on your BFP @katemacd (and any other berries with a [name_f]April[/name_f]-[name_u]June[/name_u] due date)! I’m CD25 today and experiencing some light brown spotting, so FC it’s implantation bleeding and not the early arrival of AF.
I’m a first time mother due [name_f]April[/name_f] 27. Anyone else dealing with morning sickness and crazy emotions? Had just ridiculous thoughts yesterday. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] I’m not alone.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] and hugs to all my hormonal pals out there.
Wow I can’t believe this thread has popped up already! The months are just flying by! Congrats to all you ladies with BFP’s, let the fun begin!
I am hoping to be joining you in a few weeks!!!
[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! [name_f]Glad[/name_f] to see a few ladies had started this thread.
I’m [name_f]Julia[/name_f], and am four weeks pregnant with my second. Expected due date is [name_f]May[/name_f] 4. I have a daughter, [name_f]Isla[/name_f] who will be two in [name_u]November[/name_u].
Other than being tired and my breasts being larger I have been nauseous a few times, basically only if I don’t eat when I need too.
So excited to experience this with all of you.
@esita - glad to see a familiar lady from the TTC 2016 thread.
@toniemma - congrats! An [name_f]April[/name_f] Fool’s [name_u]Day[/name_u] baby would be so neat. Is this your first?
[name_m]Just[/name_m] found out I’m pregnant a few days ago. [name_m]Edd[/name_m] is [name_f]April[/name_f] 7th. This is my second pregnancy after a miscarriage so I’m trying not to be too excited until I get to a doctor to make sure everything is okay.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] jtucker . … so nice to be on this journey together! I’m a first timer so I may pepper you with questions.
Hey IrishSaint - I’m super nervous too. I wish us both really good luck. You’re 2 weeks ahead of me, so it’s looking good so far.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] you’re all feeling well. I’m very nauseous this morning and my boobs ate incredibly tender. I also just cried when my partner said something completely innocuous about bananas… so really feeling pregnant at the moment.
@theirishsaint - congrats on this pregnancy. When do you get to see the doctor?
@esita - no problem with asking questions, I will answer them if I can. Pregnancy does intensify emotions for sure. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] that your nausea goes away quickly.
Nothing much going on with me, just trying to balance dealing with the first trimester exhaustion while having an active toddler. So far I’m doing okay. Taking a nap when she does. Our next appointment isn’t until Oct 13. They will do our prenatal nurse consult, ultrasound and meeting with the OB. Excited about the ultrasound, not excited about them wanting to do a pap. Oh well, we will see what ends up happening.
So I’m 7 weeks as of this past Friday, going in for my first prenatal this week. I can’t believe how tired and hungry I’ve been. Really want to try not to gain too much weight with this one, and I’m finding it ridiculous how much I’m already struggling with hunger. I’m frustrated because I know it’s not that the baby actually NEEDS more calories yet, it’s just the hormones.
I’m determined to keep my tennis schedule for as long as possible (we play 3x per week in the evenings). Hopefully that will help me not be a total blob by the end. I’m also continuing a round of P90X3 that I started before finding out I was pg. I’m not going to go too crazy and obviously will have to modify as I go along.
Anyone else keeping up with or starting a workout routine? What are you doing? [name_f]Hope[/name_f] everyone is feeling as well as can be expected
I’m new to the forum. I literally just signed up. We are not trying but not preventing. I suppose that means we are trying. I believe I just ovulated this past week. I can test around the 6th.
I work at a school, and I’m off work for a few weeks around when the due date would be. This is our first month without preventing, so the chances aren’t real high, but we have a chance. Fingers crossed. Hoping for a BFP on the 6th!
@grynberyl -
I intend to continue working out as well. Currently I do free weights (nothing too crazy) and light cardio. I plan on keeping this up if at all possible. I am also about to buy a new workout DVD to checkout if it’s one that I would enjoy like pregnant. It’s tough because the one I got last pregnancy was too easy and wasn’t much of a workout. We can help keep each other motivated.
I did a home pregnancy test this morning! Came out positive! I’m estimating my due date for [name_f]April[/name_f] 28, 2017. I have a DD [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]-[name_f]Louise[/name_f] that just turned two this month! Looking forward to following you all.
@jtucker, yes! I’m already struggling to keep it up, lol. Still sticking with my tennis but have to get back into my other workouts on the off days.
Is anyone doing the NIPT? They offered it to me since I’m 36 this time around…scheduled for week 12.
Also, anyone in a Zika area? I’m in south [name_f]Florida[/name_f] and we just found out there was a locally transmitted case in our county. I’ve been putting on bug spray every day, but it’s impossible to be covered every second of the day, and it’s definitely causing me a lot of anxiety. As if pregnancy wasn’t anxiety riddled already!
@tiffanyw - congrats and welcome! [name_f]Happy[/name_f] late birthday to your little girl. Her name rocks! My little girl is about to be two in a few months.
@grynberyl - it is tough to want to do my workouts too. I’ve noticed for me I can do them if I do them early in the morning, if I wait until [name_f]Isla[/name_f]'s nap I’m too exhausted. So I’ve been getting up at 5:30 three days a week to workout. Thankfully my husband gets up to workout at that time too so we help keep each other motivated. I am needing to try to add something in on Tues/Thurs, we will see if it happens though. I’m in a state that has had a few Zika cases and this last week we’ve been getting a lot of rain, so I’m sure the mosquitoes will be out to get me soon.
