R@gnar started rolling a few days after he turned 3 months. Tummy time is literally his hobby and while I suppose that’s good, it frustrated me sometimes. In fact, I’m typing this at 2 a.m. after flipping him back (and waking him up in the process). While it’s technically ok to let babies rolled in their sleep, I’m just not 100% comfortable seeing him sleeping face down.
Speaking of sleep… I said he’s an ok sleeper before. And he is.. just not all the time. He likes to fight naps and some of his wake window is waay too long for his age, so he gets overtired and fussy. That and possible teething (nothing showing yet, so still a guess) are our main struggles recently.
For some reason it didn’t really cross my mind to walk him yet. We’re working on sitting this month and while he’s ok with us putting him in sitting position, he shows no initiative on doing it himself so far. He’s mainly interested in moving around. He moves his arms and knees like he wants to try crawling, but couldn’t figure out how yet. Maybe I’ll give walking a try one of these days. He’s turning 5 months in just a couple days. Oh how time flies.
