Baby #2 Girl List

No baby #2 on the horizon yet, but hopefully soon, so DH and I are talking names. We have a 2.5 year old daughter, [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f]. Some of our potential girl names are carried over from when she was born - some are new. What works best with [name_f]Margot[/name_f]?! Thanks :slight_smile:

What a good list to choose from! (I like all of them!)
The ones I like best with [name_f]Margot[/name_f] are [name_f]Veda[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]. BUT I wanted to remind you that [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f] and [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] are sisters in the movie Despicable Me. You can choose whether that may be a deterrent or not.

[name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] make the best sisters for [name_f]Margot[/name_f] imo. The v sound is very soothing and flows nicely!

Thanks for the replies! It’s such a tough task :wink: We didn’t settle on [name_f]Margot[/name_f] until she was born! [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] were on the list then, but they just didn’t seem to fit when we met her.

As far as sibsets go my favorite is [name_f]Margot[/name_f] & [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. I love [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and I think [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is a great choice also.

Great list. I like the v sounds too, I’m not normally a fan of [name_f]Olive[/name_f] but I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f], really love. Also [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] is a great choice too. But you could chose any of the names on your list, they are all excellent names.

Such a fantastic list!

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Veda[/name_f] are just perfect together. However, you really can’t go wrong with any of your choices.

Thanks! [name_f]Veda[/name_f] was almost [name_f]Margot[/name_f]'s middle name! I’m glad we didn’t use it though, so it’s still a possibility for a first name!

I like all of them but especially love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_f]Veda[/name_f] (I hadn’t heard this one before and I love it!). My vote goes to [name_f]Veda[/name_f], although you can’t go wrong with any of your options.

I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] & [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] or [name_f]Margot[/name_f] & [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] as sisters! They both have that strong but fun vibe, and feel feminine without being overly girly.
