We are having our first girl in [name_f]October[/name_f]. Our son, [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] will be 2 in [name_u]July[/name_u]. We are having trouble finding some name ideas. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Our list as of now:
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_u]Sloane[/name_u]
[name_u]Drew[/name_u]
Thank you! Middle name contender is [name_f]May[/name_f]. My last name ends in ‘ey’ so I don’t want anything ending in that or ‘ie’.
I think a two syllable name would work best as some of your choices sound awkward with [name_f]May[/name_f] ([name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f]).
I like names that are not quite so unisex. From your list, I would pick [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] or [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. Instead, how about some non frilly feminine names:
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] are both nice but neither work well with [name_f]May[/name_f] in the middle.
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is also a bit of a tongue twister to say.
I would assume [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] and [name_u]Drew[/name_u] or [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] and [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] were brothers.
This leaves [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f].
Yes thank you berries! [name_f]May[/name_f] is not for sure middle name just one that we love with [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] & when I was pregnant w [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] we loved [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f]. And that isn’t off the table now either.
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] is probably my least favorite. The only one syllable name I love is [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is a family name & could be used as mn.
From your list I love [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
some other names :
[name_u]Arden[/name_u]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
[name_u]Fallon[/name_u]
[name_f]Ebony[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
Harlow
Ever

I love [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f]!! I really like [name_u]Drew[/name_u] as well, but I don’t think [name_u]Drew[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] flows well.
I love [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f]!!
I really like [name_u]Drew[/name_u] as well, but I don’t think [name_u]Drew[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] flows well.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is by far my favourite!!
I have bad assosociations with a [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] myself so that puts the name right off to me. I love [name_u]Wren[/name_u], but for me its mn only (I have said that about [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] in the past though!) [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] makes me think of moan and although I love [name_u]Drew[/name_u] I would only use it on a boy
I like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] but I think you might feel obligated to use W’s after that and they’re a bit matchy for my taste. [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is my favorite but sounds extremely similar to Wyatt. My favorite has got to be Quinn.
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] is my favorite of your choices. I agree with another poster that a more feminine name would be a benefit, especially after [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] Kutcher’s daughter, [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m].
I love [name_f]Olive[/name_f], but it’s a no for my husband.
Rihpght now, [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is the top. I personally love the name [name_u]Noah[/name_u] for a girl but dh does not.
I feel like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is just feminine enough & also sounds well with [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]. I’m not a frilly, pink girlie girl myself so I see my daughter w a name that has a little bit of both. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is also. Old friends name but she of course doesn’t mind & I’ve loved her name for 20 years!
I think [name_f]May[/name_f] is enough of a classic girls name that a more unisex fn would fit perfectly. I love [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] or vice versa depending on your ln
