Hello ladies we are TTC #2 and have an 18 month old son named [name_m]Rocco[/name_m] Kruz, that name took us almost to his birth to agree upon, we seriously read three books, did polls, asked family, it was a long road. We decided upon the name rocco because during my pregnancy i was caring for my grandmother who was ill, and found a saint card named rocco who healed the sick. kruz meaning of the cross. my grandmother passed 11/12 and my son was born 12/12.
We are not sure of the gender but know the name game is going to be a long road for us…we are a bit trendy and unique i know in our names but suggestions and input are welcome. thanks ahead ladies

I like [name_m]Maverick[/name_m] better than Maverix, and Mav or [name_f]Ricki[/name_f] are cute nicknames!
Instead of [name_m]Kash[/name_m], can I suggest [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]? Pronounced [name_m]Cash[/name_m]-us, and you can still use [name_m]Cash[/name_m] as a nickname too!
[name_m]Romeo[/name_m] is cute on a little boy, but on a 30, 50, or more man it’s hard to picture. I don’t think it grows well.
Knollan is nice!! I prefer the [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] spelling though.
I think all your girl’s names are beautiful! My favorites are [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], and [name_f]Violet[/name_f]!
Oh wow, when I saw your son’s name, I thought you & a girl I went to high school with have very similar styles and saw you already have one of her sons’ names on your list.
I have to say, I love [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], but I could not imagine having to spell it k-n-o-l-l-a-n… as a middle name it has a “family surname” feel, though.
[name_m]Rocco[/name_m] Kruz feels decidedly latinate, though, so I’d probably lean that way myself in the end, but here are some combos I think could work from your starting list:

I wouldnt suggest [name_m]Romeo[/name_m], only because of the character and people’s opinions about him (he wasn’t my favorite in terms of character development and personality, to say the least). [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Roman[/name_m]? [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and [name_m]Rocco[/name_m] is pretty cute! I still adore [name_m]Maverick[/name_m] out of the boys, though!

Thanks ladies for all of your input knoll is my maiden name which is how i came up with the knollan. [name_m]Maverick[/name_m] is mine and my husbands favorite so far because of us living in california and him being into surfing , its the name for the surf spot up in california that is famous for having the biggest waves. So i think we will be going with maverick for a boy and valentina for a girl
I’d stay away from [name_m]Maverick[/name_m], as the new [name_f]Apple[/name_f] operating system is called Mavericks and will diminish the “uniqueness” of kiddo’s name for many people… [name_f]Apple[/name_f] is even citing the “Awesome places in [name_u]Cali[/name_u]” part as the inspiration for the name. I get the sentiment with your maiden name and Knollan, but if you really want to spell it that way, I’d keep it to the middle. It would be hell for your kid with all the other little Nolans running around.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about using Knoll (instead of Knollan) as the middle name? [name_m]Maverick[/name_m] Knoll. It’s a one syllable name starting with a K- just like [name_m]Rocco[/name_m]'s mn Kruz. [name_m]Rocco[/name_m] Kruz and [name_m]Maverick[/name_m] Knoll… Handsome!
