We are expecting baby #3. With 2 older sisters, we were completely expecting him to be a girl as well! Older sisters are [name]Addison[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Brinley[/name] [name]Anne[/name]. Our last name is Polish and difficult to spell or pronounce. It is usually prn Whoa-[name]Jack[/name].
Having an A and a B name was not intentional, and we don’t know if we should go with a C name or something completely different. It seems a bit cheesy to use ABC order, but I don’t want him to seem left out either. We go back and forth on this, but our top runner right now is [name]Carter[/name] even though neither one of us is completely sold on it. What are your suggetions? Thanks!
Well, although I’m not a fan of the name, [name]Carter[/name] would certainly “fit” in with older sisters [name]Addison[/name] and [name]Brinley[/name]. I don’t think you have to stick with the ABC pattern as it would limit your choices a great deal. Here are some suggestions.
[name]Carter[/name] would be a good choice, but there is much more to a name than its first letter, so I believe there are other ways to let him feel included! For instance his middle name could start with an ‘A’, then all the kids have an ‘A’ name. I like [name]Arden[/name]. Or perhaps a one-syllable name? Or a seven-letter first name? Or a classic middle name? (Or something else!) [name]How[/name] about [name]Luke[/name]? [name]Grace[/name], [name]Anne[/name] & [name]Luke[/name]?
[name]Carter[/name] [name]Luke[/name] is very handsome in my opinion. Or [name]Adam[/name]/[name]Arthur[/name]/[name]Abel[/name]? [name]Dominic[/name] [name]Adam[/name]? [name]Griffin[/name] [name]Arthur[/name]? [name]Everett[/name] [name]Arden[/name]? [name]Malcolm[/name] [name]Abel[/name]? [name]Malcolm[/name] [name]Luke[/name]? [name]Coleman[/name] [name]Luke[/name]? Really liking [name]Luke[/name]! I vote [name]Carter[/name] [name]Luke[/name]! Good luck!
I don’t know if it matters to you or not, but I work at a daycare and so I am surrounded by up and coming baby names and [name]Carter[/name] is incrediblyyy popular. [name]Just[/name] a thought incase that changes your opinion because I know when names are overly popular it makes me not like them quite as much.
I don’t think anyone will notice if you don’t use a name beginning with C because it’s not that obvious a pattern. In fact, without the C-name it’s not even really a pattern, it’s just two names beginning with letters that happen to be next to each other in the alphabet. So definitely don’t feel you have to go with a C.
I do think [name]Carter[/name] works well with your girls’ names. If you’re not really feeling it though, then I’d say keep looking.
