I am expecting [name_u]Baby[/name_u] #3! I think I’ve got a good contender for the boy name, but I am totally lost on the girl name.
I have two boys: [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] [name_m]Clark[/name_m]
Honestly, [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] is a bit too popular for me. But, when he came out, he was a [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]! Also, I wanted him to be [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_u]Dylan[/name_u], but hubby said no.
I’d like a strong girl name, but no names that start with R, please.
I just realized you said no ‘R’ names. Forget about [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] & [name_f]Rose[/name_f] then. ;).
Also here are my thoughts on your maybe list-
Keira-I don’t know. I like the sound of it, but it’s kind of tricky. Is it ‘key-air-uh’ or ‘keer-uh’? It also bugs me that this is popular because of the actress, & seemingly isn’t a real spelling. I think that if you like ‘key-air-uh’, then you could go w/the authentic Gaelic spelling of [name_f]Ciara[/name_f]. That’s beautiful! And if you like ‘[name_m]Keer[/name_m]-uh’, then go w/the simple Russian name, [name_f]Kira[/name_f]. Also very pretty & most self explanatory.
Maeve-Beautiful! Simple, elegant, feminine yet not frilly. Gaining in popularity a bit, but not outrageously so.
Audra-So lovely and unexpected. Smart & simple too. I love it w/Mitchell & [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]
Bridgette-I love [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] & think that it’s a perfect fit. It’s really cute yet smart too. It’s not terribly over done, yet very recognizable. I think that the [name_f]Bridgette[/name_f] spelling is a bit busy. Oh, the nn [name_f]Bridie[/name_f] is stinkin’ adorable.
Corrine-Honestly, this is not my personal favorite, but it’s not bad. It’s different & kind of fun. Works really well w/your boys’ names.
