[name]Hi[/name]! I’ve been reading posts on this board, and I love all the naming suggestions you give. My husband and I are expecting our third baby – we’ll find out in a couple of weeks if it’s a boy or girl. In the meantime, I’m already thinking about names. We have two daughters – [name]Eva[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] (4) and [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] (1). I’m hoping you can help us with some boy/girl name ideas that flow with [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name]. We seem to like two syllable names that can be shortened to nicknames. [name]Eva[/name] goes by [name]Eva[/name], [name]Eve[/name], [name]Evie[/name]. [name]Tessa[/name] goes by [name]Tessa[/name], [name]Tess[/name], [name]Tessie[/name]. But we’re open to suggestions.
For girls, I like [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name]. We can’t use names that end in -ra or -rie, like [name]Laura[/name] or [name]Carrie[/name], because our last name starts with “R.” For boys, I like [name]Nathan[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name]. My husband’s name is [name]Jon[/name] [name]Jay[/name], so we will probably use [name]Jon[/name]/[name]John[/name] for a middle name, and we’re considering [name]Jay[/name] for a first name. Not sure, though.
Well, this is getting long, but I look forward to hearing your naming suggestions. It’s so fun thinking about baby names!
I love giving suggestions! Maybe these will go? (PS - Your daughters’ names are gorgeous!)

[name]Oliver[/name] nn [name]Ollie[/name]
[name]Eva[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name] are lovely!
And I actually think [name]Anna[/name] goes perfectly! (it also follows the pattern because you can call her [name]Anna[/name], [name]Ann[/name], or [name]Annie[/name]).
Some other suggestions:
[name]Julia[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] (though I don’t know if the closeness to your daughter’s mn [name]Corrine[/name] would bother you?)
[name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Mona[/name]
[name]Leila[/name]
[name]Nina[/name]
[name]Johanna[/name]
[name]Susannah[/name]
For boys, I’m not crazy about [name]Jay[/name] as a first name (sounds feminine somehow, even though [name]Jay[/name] is not exactly a name that would work on a girl - ,maybe it’s because it sounds like it’s short for [name]Jessica[/name]? Not sure, but there’s something about it . . .)
As for first names that would sound well with mn [name]John[/name] (and, of course, with your girls’ names) here are some suggestions:
[name]Samuel[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Abram[/name]
[name]Louis[/name]
[name]Quentin[/name]
I love [name]Anna[/name], [name]Nathan[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name] from your choices. Here’s what I like with [name]Eva[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Corinne[/name].
[name]Anna[/name] works best with [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name]. To stick with your theme, I like [name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name].
As for a boys name, I like [name]Nathaniel[/name]. As for a middle, [name]John[/name] is strong and classic while [name]Jay[/name] is more contemporary and informal. The [name]Jon[/name] spelling comes across as a nickname for [name]Jonathan[/name], in which I would opt for the full name. So, it depends on what you’re after.
